The one turns on a small current with a tiny current. The other turns on a bigger current with a small current. Add as many as you want for as big a current as you want. Add in some switching and you can make a pulse modulated DC voltage supply.

This would also happen during a blackout.

Mehdi, I think that you should make your own electric race track model. Here's a few things I'd do:
1) Use lots of plastic sheets glued together to make your track. This assembly you can then use to make your dream track.
2) Use magnetic film tape with a coil wrapping around the whole length of the tape (wind the coil perpendicular to the film tape)
3) Use two heavy-gauge wires (make sure they're the same gauge) placed a small distance apart with a barrier of epoxy between them. This is for short circuit protection between the wires, and the wires make a conductive track for the car's pickups to pull current from.
4) For the car's pickups, buy an electroscope and pull out the voltage detector. The beeper output can be used to drive a small DC motor using PWM, thus driving the car forward, while the LED output powers an electromagnet that keeps the car firmly on the track.
5) The sensitivity adjustor can be wired as a second pair of pickups, with this one fine-tuning the motor speed.
6) A control panel would be made from a dimmer switch, a zapper toy, a hair dryer circuit, and a step-down transformer to supply DC power at a low enough voltage for the console to run.
7) The AC output from the hair dryer would pass through another full bridge rectifier before going to a step-up transformer, in order to supply enough voltage to power the track.
8) Power for the track would be DC, but supplied by a wall adapter and full bridge rectifier in series with a step-down transformer.
9) To avoid destroying everything in the event of a power surge, a NAND chip and a relay would switch the system to an uninterruptible power supply. This would also happen during a blackout.

Bruh you should just flip your breaker and turn off your whole room before touching anything in your room 😂
I don't have a single clue about electricity or how things work but it feels so good watching someone who is in the same time funny and dedicated to this. (btw I already watched all your videos also your your electric guitar video)

2:55 this is what we came for.
I saw this cascaded transistors cofiguration in an electronics components factory (Siemens, maybe) newsletter, back in the 80s...
I used it when assemblying my water level detector, during my electronics course... The teacher was clear that the test glass of water shouldn't contain any salt and was kind of amazed that mine worked perfectly with such a simple solution.

The sudden realization
Cleaning up his mess this is definitely a once in a lifetime event that can’t be missed. 👍🥳
