I live very close to it and grew up with this park. Its great to see that this park finally gets the attention it deserves in the recent years, especially because even here in northern germany it gets often overshadowed by heide park, so seeing people from all over the world finally visit hansapark just makes me so happy. Oh and because you were curious about the observation tower: its broken down for almost 2 years now and will be removed by the end of this year unfortunately.

My guess and hope for the new building would be a flying theatre. I don’t believe in a hotel and the dimensions seem wrong for a dark ride or a station building for a rollercoaster.

Its does look that way, looked hotel-ish while on site, but things I've read since suggest a dark ride of sorts 😊
