I love the 2nd look on your right eye! I’m not sure how I feel about this palette yet. It’s meh but those “meh” palettes end up being the best! 😜. The Nouveau palette is one of my favs this year though! And Modern Renaissance is one of the best of all time, everyone should have that one in their collection! ❤️
I agree. For those of us who don't create looks for social media, we need reliable products that are wearable and appropriate for our daily lives. So a "meh" palette that has some standout shades or a special quality (like in this palette with shimmers like Haze) is the best!

YES to the comparisons between this & Nouveau, thanks for that! Same goes for doing live swatches, and verbally describing the shades; another improvement IMO. Cool w/ the lip liner on the inner rim, oddly enough never thought of that, although I've used eye liners on my lips on several occasions! LOVE both looks you did here, and yet also would love a 5 looks w/ this -- but why not throw in a cpl w/ BOTH palettes, as I think they would complement each other perfectly? And pls would you use more Royal, if I may request it, I'm having a hard time fitting that in w/ the other colors ...

I love both looks on you, especially the cool one, and also before you added the burgundy. It was really subtle and elegant and flattering for your eye color, whereas the other one was more bling and "in your face". Great review! Please do a 5 looks with this. Love your channel!😘
I absolutely adore this pallet! It is gorgeous! I love these colors and feel like they killed it on this pallet. I got it in last night after I got off of work and had to play with it... It did not disappoint! I have never enjoyed or "oohed and awwed" about a pallet as much as I have with this one. Outstanding formula by ABH. And the look I came up with was effortless! If I can come up with a look, anyone can! The color that came out of those 2 shimmers in the 1st look was beautiful!

I agree about the inside, the color b/w each shade does tend to take away from the colors themselves. It isn't complimenting them or bringing them out, it sort of dims them. Thank you, Patty!

This is under my Christmas tree. I have never seen a palette in my life that has spoken to me quite like this one. And that is saying a LOT. I am a make up artist, a cosmetologist, and I have a makeup collection so large that it has its own insurance policy. Even still, it's the most "me" a palette has ever been. This palette works on my skin tone. I am darker than you. I am a warm olive. I prefer grungy looks. I love my Melt Cosmetics Gemini palette, for example. Those pukey yellow & greens just speak to my soul.
This is the best review I found of that pallete, and if I had any doubt about buying it, you definitely convinced me to do it... and although I usually also prefer warmer tones, that second look with cool tones is really stunning and elegant... That's a pity that this pallete is sooo expensive here in Brazil... 😅 thanks for such detailed review :)
I have the nouveau pallette and I love it. I'm thinking of picking this pallette too. It has a unique color story. Although it looks similar to other holiday pallets that were recently released, Rose metals has a green shift to it that makes the different.

I wasn't going to get this at first bc I thought it was too similar to the Nouveau palette but when I saw it in person I realized it is it's own unique color story! Both of them were some of my favs of the palettes I got in 2022! I have over 100 now and I am sure I'll be adding more this year! I said I'd only buy indie brands though. I want to add more multichromes bc I only have one that has any which is my Adept Plain Jane Remastered palette.
Hi Patty!! I actually like the dark grungy side more than the orange gold side on you. It's like this sexy look and it makes your eyes stand out more. Like you said, everyone has different tastes.
This palette looks like soft glam part 2 (or part 3 since they already have a mini one thats part 2) haha. It 's beautiful, and I love when palettes can be used everyday and on special occasions and this seems like it. I'm still working on my soft glam, but I would love to go swatch this in sephora soon :)
I just received mine and it is beautiful, but I feel like it is missing a few more light colors. The only ones are that mauve pink on the end and the champagne shimmer above it. I plan to use it in combination with another ABH palette that has more lighter colors.

Most of them are really pretty, don’t get me wrong, but there’s something about some of these palettes that just aren’t fully doing it for me. I do love grungy palettes live Vieve Essentials (the best black ive ever used in it) and things like Dior Backstage Amber 003 palette so this is a nice palette to me, but ive seen many people say its a perfect partner to the Nouveau palette to use the 2 together and i can see that. I’m more interested in Huda’s new Empowered pallet though to be honest.
I think the eyeshadow palette is ok honestly not my fav I still want the ND my dream collection lol but I'm so happy you got the eyeshadow palette on PR 💕💕
That’s interesting you mentioned how you didn’t like the certain shades on your skin tone. I found that to be the case, for me, with the nouveaux palette. I would wear the pretty greens, and it’s like the colors sucked the life out of my complexion. It just made me look dull, it wasn’t flattering on me. This one, the rose metals palette, I’m curious about but hesitant because of that issue. I also found with the Nouveaux palette that the deepest shade in the palette, which was a shimmer, if I used it to darken the outer corner, it faded on me! More than faded, it disappeared! My eye look sure looked odd by the end of the night when that color just disappeared. So, I’m so curious how the deep shades last in this new palette. Does the deep matte brown last? Does the deep dark shimmer last? Or will that one fade. I hope you do a wear test and come back to update us on the lasting power!

My biggest complaint of MR was the lack of shimmers. This palette may just fill the shimmer void for me in a similar color story!

I think the eyeshadow palette is ok honestly not my fav I still want the ND my dream collection lol but I'm so happy you got the eyeshadow palette on PR 💕💕

That’s interesting you mentioned how you didn’t like the certain shades on your skin tone. I found that to be the case, for me, with the nouveaux palette. I would wear the pretty greens, and it’s like the colors sucked the life out of my complexion. It just made me look dull, it wasn’t flattering on me. This one, the rose metals palette, I’m curious about but hesitant because of that issue. I also found with the Nouveaux palette that the deepest shade in the palette, which was a shimmer, if I used it to darken the outer corner, it faded on me! More than faded, it disappeared! My eye look sure looked odd by the end of the night when that color just disappeared. So, I’m so curious how the deep shades last in this new palette. Does the deep matte brown last? Does the deep dark shimmer last? Or will that one fade. I hope you do a wear test and come back to update us on the lasting power!
