Wow, the price is astronomical. These plants grow wild and free in South Africa,I now appreciate this plant even more.I received a whole bunch of cuttings from my brother who was thinning out his garden and I decided to grow a hedge and I'm happy to say it's doing very well.
Hi Andy It is nice to see that you bought a lovely Jade Bonsai plant. Well in Bombay we get that plant with a similar planter for about 4 pounds and without planter for half a pound. Thank you so very much for the informative and awesome video. Cheers!
I was gifted this plant last year. That was my first encounter with plants in general, I had ZERO idea about anything plants. When you mentioned 'twigs' I smiled to myself, because I managed to turn my complete dwarf jade plant into huge dried twigs as well by giving it all kinds of stresses possible :( I had managed to cut out small growing ends from the plant, literally an inch size, in the hopes that the plant will be survived through those tiny branches. And they came through ! I don't think they will grow as big as before, but I hope to make a mini bonsai out of it maybe. Since it is a long project, I'll be glad to follow with you on your plant as well and hopefully get some good tips, so subbed ! Good luck :)
That's great, so glad you managed to rescue the little cuttings, we all learn as we go in this hobby and that's fine, I'm sure we will have fun growing some little bonsai together! :-)
It would be lovely to live in a tropical country where these plants live wild. I would love to see some phoos when you have some done. HouseplantHacks on Instagram.
Well Piggy, how'd you like Andy's new video? Oh Kermie, you know bonsai's are so classy - I just fit right in and I really love that little mouse in his lawn chair sitting underneath that Bonsai drinking an umbrella drink with his sunglasses on - so cute! And you know how much I love tropical beaches. Well it's funny you should say that Piggy because I've got two tickets to Hawaii! Oh, Kermie, for me?! Yep! Wait a minute! How long have you had these? Oh, not long I probably had them a month I had to raise the money. What! You've kept a secret from me for a month! Now you're going to get it FROG! Heee. Yah! No Piggie no! ( Patter Patter Patter) You come back here! Remember, I can run faster than you can hop!
@@HouseplantHacks they taste like citrus but have a different bitter taste at the end. If you watch bonsai zone he has a pretty an amazing portulacaria Afra forrest.

May those dwarf jades have a good development.

5 AUD for a baby sapling in Australia 🇦🇺
Great value! I'll just hop on a flight and grab one! 😆
What happened to the cutting tho?
Why not? If you like it get it.

You can eat them. I am not a huge fan of the taste.
I'll take your word for it! I don't think I need to try that out! :-)
