This was a very interesting and different kind of vampire audio. I'm anxiously and nervously awaiting the next part. This vampire seems to actually listen to listener's fear(s) and needs "for the experiment" and seems to be treating listener different than their fellow recruits "for the experiment" but currently, he's still the enemy...kind of. It makes me nervous what's to come; Will he try to or end up killing listener ultimately? Or turning them? Or something else? I can see this guy becoming protective and possessive (soft?) yandere for them as they go, how much depends on his actions and words. Not sure why he couldn't just take listener's blood by biting them and sucking some out- is it because he can't trance them to stay calm when biting? Is that the general problem for vampires with this group or does their "influence" mean more than that? (Vampires would be foolish to kill their only food source so they must be keeping humans alive even when they feed on them...hm, I'd imagine most would get bored of mindless thralls...maybe humans are kept as pets? Is Vampire-kun Soloman here even more different than normal vampires than that? Ironically this whole needle situation mirrors my own; Needles are one of my worst fears to the point of practical hyperventilating, and no breathing exercises will help me once I see it a again or even look away. And the trauma for me stacks so each one is worse (with a few exceptions) and if that wasn't enough my veins are very hard to find; I can't even get a blood test anymore without the veins collapsing. It sucks, no pun intended.
Right it's an interesting position he's in because his ultimate goal is pretty dark and opposed to humanity yet he's surprisingly gentle with his captured human, surely way more than he has to be? There's definitely some emotions or memories he's having of his own past as a human that might be where his sentimentality comes from. I'd be so curious where this relationship ends up down the road Oof that's rough about needles, sorry to hear it. Do you have hope of ever finding a way to cope with them, or does it feel like a lost cause pretty much?

Great writing and even greater voice acting. The vampire is kind of jerk who clearly has buried his compassion, but no matter how pissed I am with him, in fact, precisely because I am pissed at him, I can tell those two were great writing and voice acting, so GREAT WORK.

Casually am flattered by your kind words thank youu It's a Samson G-Track Pro, but I think the real secret is to drown yourself under a sea of blankets and clothing while you record to try and isolate yourself from background noise and reverb as much as possible. I have a background in electronic music too which helps in knowing how to clean vocals with software a little bit Thanks, it means a lot coming from someone in this genre too and right back at you

Am I afraid of needles? Not remotely xD I actually love it when a needle is slowly pushed through my skin. That's why I'm always happy when I get injections or have to have a vaccination or a blood test.😂 I know it sounds crazy 😅
I'm petrified of needles to the point when I was younger, it took my mother, two nurses, and the doc to hold me still long enough to give me a vaccine. It was terrible, but I was strong. Gave a few people some bruises over those dumb things. I'm still terrified of them, but I can atleast get a vaccine without panicking (as long as I don't see it).

@@JouskaByNight I would highly recommend checking it out. It's largely overshadowed by the much more popular Iron Fae series, but it's really good. If a vampire dystopian with an undead katana-wielding protagonist is up your alley, that is. Jackal's personality really comes out more in the second book, but I can't go into it without spoiling. But I'd definitely recommend picking up at least the first one(The Immortal Rules) and give it a try. There is a romance in there which might not be your thing, but there's honestly enough other stuff going on that's interesting enough on its own that I was never bored. Come join us. Seriously, please, there's like 5 of us in this fandom and most of the stuff online is from when I was in middle school.
