Also, all of them that ive seen, have a soft touch coating on the outside. Glue's have a hard time sticking too this. The adhesive on the velcro dosnt stick for long either. If you clean it, and sand or scuff the surface a bit and then use welder's glue, contact cement, shoe goo, or goop and then stick a Velcro piece on it with that. For outdoor flight, i also tie a piece of thread on it and to my plane somwhere for a lanyard just in case!

@FiedtheNeedIT1 Sure! Its just a Keychain cam that are sold on ebay. Last i remember there from $10-$15. Now theres more than one kind. The ones i buy you need to purchase a Micro SD card for memory. They make/sell some that require no card and have internal memory but ive been told they suck. I buy the others and usually more than one, cheap enough to have a backup or two! So 1 or 2 GB card is more than enough to do the job. Mount as you wish. I put it on my stuff with good Velcro.

@mytmousemalibu Great! thanks! I just set up a modified slow stick running a huge brush-less and it can carry a lot. I'm very surprised at how clear your videos are. I've seen a similar camera in a Sav-on, but I don't think it had a removable SD card. I appreciate the help, and I'll be sure to post some videos up when i take the ; ). Also, how long are you able to record videos for?

@FiedtheNeedIT1 Ya amazing video quality for how cheap and small they are! Really light weight too! Record time depends on the size of card you use. I had a 4GB card iirc and i think its like 1.5 hrs worth of space. And i belive the batt in it was good for 3hrs. They have specs on the ebay pages that you can estimate the time. I need to do some more vids myself! I need to get another card. I lost mine with the camera in a crash earlier this year. It was on a friends 87" 3DHS SHP that crash.

Can you tell me what that exact camera set up is?

Well, I just ordered a camera, and also fixed up my planes, so I should have some good footage in about a week. =)

It was likly fine but we couldnt find it. I put my string lanyard in the hatch latch and when it hit it poped the canopy and flung the cam who knows where. Shame he did some good flying/good video plus a crash and no onboard to watch. He fixed the plane though!

Are you still flying these indoor planes? I have a few old school balsa R/C planes from the 80s, so I am familiar with the concept but I have never messed with these new ultra-light, electric craft! I do have a cheap R/C (toy) helicopter but it only flies for about 4 minutes!! Thanks for sharing.

I have taken an absence from most of my R/C addictions in pursuit of my competitive shooting sports but I still have all my stuff! We did these ultra lite EPP foamy's for winter indoor fun. I really enjoyed the bigger nitro, gas, and electric planes outside. The last summer I really flew, I burned through 8 gallons of nitro in my .40 size planes! I flew a LOT! I burned myself out of it to a degree but I will return some day!
