Circle Jerks are fucking legendary, and I feel certain that this song in particular will stick with me even when I'm long dead and gone and nothing but ashes in my coffin... and those ashes will be slamming. There's one other song that I'm pretty sure we'll have the same effect to my ashes... Fugazi's Waiting Room. I've alw ays believed that song with custom built to be played live cuz even the paralyzed can't help but get up and move.
Holy shit... Biscuits always took things to a much higher level, no matter which band he was in. I really wish he would have stuck with the Jerks long enough to play on an album. Fuckin’ great footage here.
@@zandermolster3135 Yes, it is. A very young Keith Morris. Strange to think I'll be seeing him in 2 weeks, on stage, still fronting Circle jerks. Doesn't quite move like that anymore, but just as snotty and great as 1985.
This is when everybody wanted to be a punk rock. By 1981 sept punk hit the main stream and alot of the guy's I knew started to switch over to speed metal. I was at the last Germ gig at the Starwood in Hollywood when Darby died that week. You can hear my brother on the white record when it was record there.
I have this on VHS somewhere in my collection. It was from a a short lived show called Rock Palace circa 1984. Filmed at the Palace on Vine St. in Hollywood.
Thanks so much for posting!!! I've been searching for this clip. Saw it on late night TV first run. It left quite an impression. And it's the Chuck Biscuits lineup!!!!
@sonicvisionmedia I wasn't sure, but I thought that was Earl. He went on to tour with Saccharine Trust at one point and I'll always remember when he got up to sing with Black Flag during T.V. Party. He had just lost a tooth and there's footage somewhere where he says one of the lines and the camera catches him at the right moment ~ very Addams Family look to it! This is great footage. Cheers!
Open Letter To Keith Morris: Songs and Song like this make me proud to be an American /and now/despite the collect call at midnight/It is high-time for the Feedback Family to annex City Hall...
This is that great Jerks lineup with Earl Liberty on bass and Chuck Biscuits on drums. So much energy and talent in that band. Too bad they didn't make a record with those guys. I heard Earl found religion and gave up rock 'n' roll.
I remember this episode of what I cant remember but I do remember I looked forward to it...It was the 1st time "punk" the real shit was actualy on TV! Never on radio had to get from friends and a few shops and gigs...was it SNL? or fuck it my brain fried !@#$%^&*()_
And that, boys and girls, is how hardcore punk is done.
I wanna like this so bad but it seems to be at the exact perfect amount of likes
Except the crowd didn't seem to be doing hardcore punk very well.

Gorila Biscuits até the Band on this?
omg, that kicks ass. That drummer is one of the best I've ever seen in any band, ever - fast as hell and that snare is tight
Best drummer Danzig ever had as well!
damn Keith looks different without his dreads
I kinda liked it when he had curly hair
He looks better
That Cap'n Crunch jacket makes me love Keith, the Circle Jerks, and life in general.
Holy Fooking CRAP that is VICIOUS. The energy expended is incredible
Always come back for that bass and biscuits on the drums.
man chuck is oozing adrenaline, i hope to aspire to be like him one day.

SUCH A primitively VIOLENT drumming style !
SUCH A hardcore punk passion !
Fuck it, Keith Morris is one the top 5 punk frontmen ever and Biscuits is at least top 5 as well. ..in terms of power.
One of my favorite bands!!!❤❤❤
Hands down my favorite CJs lineup, back when they had Corey Feldman on vocals.
That's Keith Morris.
Denoy You don't say.
TDK39 So why say Corey Feldman?
Denoy
Feldman became CJs' frontman for a time,
after Morris left to produce The Go-Go's "Talk Show" album.
+TDK39 Yeah right,lol!
Sweet memories of my early, early, years and introduction to punk.
Everytime I hear this it feels like the end of the world is near...
I have this on VHS somewhere in my collection. It was from a a short lived show called Rock Palace circa 1984. Filmed at the Palace on Vine St. in Hollywood.
When I was a kid, this was my favorite band! And now I remember why!
Brilliant Band
Great Track
☠️💣☠️
One too many of my old friends grew up and became really boring. I'm glad that I never changed.
@atomskt90019
This also sounds like the bassline from "Vampira" by the Misfits.
DIY punk rock shit like this is still being made today!! Just search up 'Prisoner' by HeadAche... you won't regret it!!
Biscuits at 1:15...love it!
I feel the energy from the drummer.
Thanks so much for posting!!! I've been searching for this clip. Saw it on late night TV first run. It left quite an impression. And it's the Chuck Biscuits lineup!!!!
The bass player, Earl, helped me out of a jam once. Good dude.

@Brimboras Yeah, I saw him play with OFF! on Saturday at FYF, he gave my friend a boxed water and I caught the guitarist's guitar pick. Lucky us haha
@JipeMorin
Just two I think: Keith (vocals) and Chuck (drums). Earl (bassist) was in Saccharine Trust. Greg was in Red Cross (Kross).
Their fuckin playin october 8th in chicago for riot fest!!! Fuckin epic
haha! Loved this song back then, did half of it...
I don't wanna live to be 34... Used to sing this when I was 22. I'll be 64 tomorrow, lol.
I never understood why Keith is wearing that get-up, 'til a friend years ago said he is wearing one glove like Michael Jackson. Awesome!
group sex is a classic album....stuff of legends
@TurncoatTony punk hasn't gone anywhere. keep your spirits up.
Can't believe it was the 1980, and rock like this and punk rock was just emerging, I thought Chrome was one of the only bands that were really fucked
My favorite song
This guy is still singing.. I just caught the latest act OFF! when they toured Detroit
And, 11 years from your comment, Keith is STILL singing, and I'll see him & Circle Jerks in 2 weeks in Dallas. 4/20/2022
Why don't we have bands anymore whom can kick arse?

@cvhcdanny Rise Against is a great band. If you've ever been to one of their gigs you will know that.
The drummer who's name escapes me is fucking insane. Awesome.
Chuck Biscuits
Kevin Fitzgerald! 🔥
@hndsmepete Any old interview with Keith usually says otherwise. He has mentioned "great bands like the Clash and the Damned" several times.
