both look nice but the ice dye colors are on another level.
I like the vertical one better, the way the color splits feathered.
100% agree that the vertical came out far more interesting.
I like them both but I agree that it loses the incline look and the incline look is attractive on this shirt.
Huh. That's really interesting I need to go back and watch your previous "flood" videos, but what I'm blown away by most is that it only takes 6 hours to get that effect. Geez, I like both versions a lot. I can understand wanting the "flow" feathery one best, it looks a little more dynamic, but the "static" one looks like it's floating above the fabric. Love your videos, always learning something new!
Thanks for the feedback and for watching!
If you use hot water irrigation, you can drop the time down to less than an hour.
Is this Mr. Tye Dye? You sound just like him. But I love this method.
No, it's not. I'm just a mid-40's guy that's been doing tie dye for a bit over a decade. :)
@@CasualCollisions Well I’m glad I found you and this method, I did my first today the regular way and I had a messl, Lol.
@@DeeFromTheD - Even after the time I've being doing it, there are still times where the result is a complete mess or something leaks and I have a literal mess all over the table/floor. You just have to chalk it up as a learning experience. :)
Love the feathering on the vertical soak! I have not seen a spiral done this way. It’s very exciting! I don’t get out much.. 🤣 another stykecim going to have to try!
I really like your experimental teaching method. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
I appreciate your watching!
Very open and precise! Thank you so much for this video ! ❤
Thanks for watching!
Hi! I hit u up on facebook and asked for half tie dye thingie I watched your videos and did it it looks fantastic and i wanna do that could you please do the half dye one please
Iv'e been doing a lot of these and I was thinking doing this horizontal irrigation. I made a one side color spider with vertical ice dye and irrigation and came out pretty cool. Can I show you ?
Yes - you can reach me on FB at: facebook.com/casualcollisions/
@@CasualCollisions Awesome. thank you
your work is awesome bro, keep it up :)
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback!
Ok I love this... Cause it really is different.. But is there a way to have this kind of look with liquid dye? ... and is there also a better way to have this and the colours will get to the center?
You can do low water immersion with liquid dye: th-cam.com/video/C2wIGe-ZFyI/w-d-xo.html
You could flip it over and re-dye from the opposite side to push dye into the white area.
As always, my favorite part is listening to your thoughts at the end. I am learning a lot from you and have a running list of projects I want to try. Thank you, again, for being my Saturday morning coffee time entertainment!
Thanks, I appreciate the positive words. And, thanks for taking the time to watch each Saturday.
