Hello Alicia how are you doing hope you’re doing good with your family.
Born in 1982. LP was there for my teenage years of rioting, aggression, peace and loneliness. Later, in my mid 30s - best wish was to attend live event like LP had with JazyZ or even any LP concert, but was almost not possible for many reasons(my location, prices, cost of living, family issues, etc), so I never did....and for that I feel like one of the biggest mistake for me. Up to the now - you guys are still with me. My young relentless days have passed and never returning. Same, I guess, like LP never comes back the way it was before. Time to move on. Not necessarily accepting what had happened, but still keep marching forward. Mike, if you are reading this - I sincerely thank LP and You personally for my warm and cozy teenage memories and possibility to keep listening your songs at present. Even my 3 kids love some LP songs popping here & there ))...especially from Transformers series, so this is not only me, LP has "touched" now with your music...and from my honest opinion is a good sign...
Song above this post just proves that you, at least, started moving forward and doing it with dignity, grace and talent you have in your possession.

Chester was a fuckin' vocal superhero, seemed like an amazing dude, and honestly I sometimes miss the guy as if I actually even knew him. That's how much his voice touched my life, and I know I'm not the only one who feels that... but Mike always was the heart and soul of it all, and it's incredibly cathartic to see him doing his thing so goddamn confidently. I loved Post-Traumatic a whole lot, but this right here is some other shit. Awesome song as always, Mike. Keep healing, cuz that blurry vision of the future you mentioned looks pretty damn killer to me. Just my two cents, anyway.

I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this song since it came out... I just realized it has been out for a month on TH-cam. I feel like I've known it for a while, like its a melody I held somewhere deeper down that has been fully realized. Thanks for putting into words how I've been feeling for a while now, it was eloquently said.
When I was a kid my mom used to listen to Linkin Park(and some more legendary rock bands, but I sticked to LP the most) so I grew to love it a lot, eventually choosing it as my favorite band whatsoever

Dude, it's way more common than you think lol. If you got the resources and equipment (well, money) you can make a whole song by yourself extremely easily. Of course Mike's super talented but it doesn't come down to that at all.

Depresses me to know that i am a huge LP fsn and i never got to see them live i was about 10-11 years old when HT came out ans it totally changed my perspective on what you could do with music. And it also introduced me to disk jockeys which i didnt know were a thing. My dad had a vinyl player when i was a kid and we went to a shop and got a record to play with for scratching, it was a very interesting experience 😊. He gave me my first piece of music, vinyl of black sabbaths paranoid record and i still have it to this day its in a frame on my wall at home i cherish it dearly. ❤
My mom and sister always listened to whatever pop music was playing on the radio and he pulled me into the garage and said he was going to introduce me to "real music", blasted the hell out of this while working on a ford escort we had at the time that needed a rotor changed.

Doesn't even have to be the same band name if you are looking to preserve LP as always having been you all and Chester. I just miss hearing you all play. Music for me has always been therapy and where my creative zen flows from. We all miss Chester everyday, but it would be great to see you all continue on in his honor in some form.

Id love to meet u. I was to see chester as my 1# band innlifensince a child. Inwasnborn in 1991 and was listening to his music since i was like 8 years old up till now being 32 uears old besides your music. I have never been to a concert ever before and wont now became it was to see u and chester first. Therefore i will never go to a voncert ever in life to experience the real feel. Chesters speeches and music/movements helped me all my life as i was neglected abused and in 2 out of 3 foster abusive families till i was adopted and still growing and going through shit. I've been a fan since 2003 and listened to all of your and LP's music forwards and backwards. Somehow, you always put into words what I feel at any given time. Post Traumatic came out during a time where I was grieving a family friend and listening to your music helps me cope and heal. Since then, I go back to the whole album whenever that wave comes back in. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do, you are a true inspiration and a genuine person who deserves all the happiness in the world.
