Why cannot they have a stand up loft. Maybe, one where the ceiling/roof lifts up but goes down when the home is in transit.
🤔 pretty good idea since they have those RVs with walls that move too. Maybe they will work on that soon.

Hmm...interesting idea. I came on to ask about the loft. Can they make it higher? I love everything except the height of the loft. You should be able to stand straight up....oh well just a thought

This is definitely a gorgeous tiny home. I would have no problem living in something this nice. The loft could be extended upward a bit for people that's taller than me (i only stand 5'1)...lol

Great tiny home design. As some have commented, the loft should be made into a true second floor instead of squatting or sitting area. It would be ideal for a home office.

Tiny Homes that are mobile have height restrictions. That is why the loft is so low.

That's probably before the cost before lot prep, moving the house to the lot, and utility hookups which could double the cost, its too wide to be street legal :(

I used to own a restaurant. You NEVER should put refrigeration next to an oven. Refrigerator burns out as it needs to work twice as hard to keep things cool.
Our houses fridge lasted 30 years and it was next to an oven. In fact it was still working when we got rid of it. I guess your theory is false.
It has always seemed like having an oven over or under a refrigerator is a really bad idea to me, Mary Beth. I agree with you. Yet, you often see it done in tiny houses and narrow boats.
You would be using the oven more in a restaurant than in a tiny home...
Mary Beth, that's not true because they are both insulated. Ours was next to each other and 15 years later they're both still working!
Mary Beth My refrigerator is right next to my oven/stove and it lasted 21 years before I had to buy a new one so that’s not true. Maybe that’s true for a restaurant/commercial grade but it’s definitely not true for residential.

@@lauraboscan1281 it's 399 sq ft. Meaning it's a tiny house. Tiny homes can have full kitchens, full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, lofts, and decks whatever people want and STILL be classified as a tiny home. Thank you next!
@@madiamisspriss2421 Whether the measurements classify this house as tiny, it has an awful layout. With all that extra space in the bathroom, you could build a bit smaller full bathroom and an extra room for a nursery/toddler's room/storage/a full pantry... There are countless ways to use the space a bit better.
The same applies to the huge kitchen.
I live in a 450sq ft with mom, dad, and two brothers, and it has 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, a living room, a family room, a dining room, and a laundry room,.
I just say those 399sqft would have been used a lot better to fit more features (and people) inside the house.

Very nice “tiny home”. I just love the stair case rather than a ladder. That, to me, makes it appear much larger and very cozy. Also, I agree with one of the other comments about raising the ceiling in the loft. I wouldn’t want to send a guest up there... especially senior citizen.
And one last thing. Is the entire house in use of vinyl flooring or is it mainly in “wet” areas?
