I have completely stock 2015 SHO non-PP. Every option except PP. Ruby Red. I bought it new. Zero door dings. It has been mostly parked in the garage since March 2020. 47500 miles. Oil changed by me every 5k with Mobil-1. It is for sale. Make me an offer.
@@AutoRacingYT you sure? If you only wanna go straight, weld the spider gears and anything between them solid then the pinion will be directly connected to both axles. Spools kinda suck except for off roading tho, not great even @ drag strip, but better than FWD imho Edit: if the clutches aren't like normal diffs, weld them solid to wherever they touch. Cheap... then buy a 2nd axle for your experiment?
@@ohane1 Yes, I am sure. I have already torn apart two of these things. Sure weld the diff but you still have the clutch packs in the rdu itself that modulate. Lock those in place and you blow up the diff instantly from other forces not playing nice.
@@AutoRacingYT I believe ya, sorry I was only talking about the rear, not the RDU. Saw you were running FWD & figured that was going to do bad things to the power distribution. It would blow up my AWD doing that. Most my power goes to the rear axle. I don't know that system.
If you wouldn't mind could you go into a little bit more depth on what sort of traction issues you were having? I have a 2019 sho and it seems to randomly lose traction like my rear dif isn't kicking in at all.
Couldn't get the thing to hook from a dig at all. Took apart the RDU and everything was smoked. Tried to fix it and it never worked again so taking it out and having it on the bench so I can figure out a solid solution
@@AutoRacingYT depending on what all broke, I think traction concepts offers a limited slip differental for about 350. and it looks like VAC Motorsports seems to offer one as well however their website manages to look even sketcher than TC's. I have personally not bought from either of those places so I have no idea if either are legit.
Keep SHO'en! Liking all the things you've been doing! I have 2010 FLEX. Doing what I can when I can with it.
So glad to see you back man as someone trying too build a fwd sho out of my sel your a huge inspiration
super badass car very well thought out

50/50 distro... for the people
Since you took the rear subframe out, obviously to test fit another rear diff, say the mustang rear diff
He’s backkkk
Hell yeah brother
Why don’t you swap out the 3.5 for a BMW M5 F10 4.4 TT? Turn it into a proper RWD car as it should be.
Wild for sure
Wild
boosted fwd launch?
Spins like really badly even at 80 in boost lol
Those cars are fast my buddys SHO will beat C7s Z06 from start to top end
Gonna lincoln lock the rear? Can't beat the price of welding wire vs clutches.
Little bit more complicated than that. You've still got the whole clutch system still that transfers power

Hey have you looked into a crv rdu? There's an aftermarket for those.
Yes! That's been discussed to use a honda viscous coupler
@@AutoRacingYT I hear there is a VC from the land rover can be used too.

@neb_setabed the differential itself is irrelevant from the issues in the clutch system
Is it still slower than the old car?
Did you remove the ptu? What jack shaft did you use if so?
Ptu is still on the car
Will you answer my question?
No
😂
