I love how Matthew's energy rubs off Colbert. He is instantly smoother just by being around him. Wow.
About 18 years ago, I met him at a shop in LA. It is one of the few times in my life that I became incapable of speech. His charisma is off the charts. He chatted me up, but I was on a date and the guy started calling my name from the dressing room, so I reluctantly tore myself away. I don’t have many regrets in this life, but that is one of them.
