      There are many components to studying human anatomy. One plan I found which succeeds in merging these is the Sebs Study Crammer (check it out on google) without a doubt the most useful info that I have ever heard of. Check out this extraordinary site.

    if you type in the search bar of Zygote Body "brain", it will isolate the brain and you can then "pin" it as well. Can be a bit tricky sometimes isolating certain structures!

    I wish I'd had this 25 years ago, embarking on study of psychology -- I am a bit spatially impaired, and I had a hell of a bad time visualizing these structures in three dimensions. There were no programs back then that rotated the images like this. A great addition to the study tools for a vital but complex topic.

    Thank you. Clears a lot of things up that get confused looking at 2-D illustrations. One point. The epithalamus is an important part of the dienchephalon connecting the pineal gland to the rest of the brain including the hypothalamus, giving credence to it being not only the "Third Eye", but also the "Master Gland". It looks kind of like a tail ending in the pineal gland in this 3-D video of the brain. The pineal gland is considered to be a part of the epithalamus.

    Just a thing. When describing parts of the brain you should really use ventral - dorsal (anterior - posterior) and rostral - caudal (superior - inferior). It's just the proper language when talking about the brain.

    • @PrinceHughes
      @PrinceHughes 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Now that would depend on the organism, wouldn't it? Since we are talking about humans, I think superior/inferior and anterior/posterior are correct...

    first of all thank you for this tutorial, it's very nice and easy :)
    But there's a little mistake in this illustration - as far as i know the sulcus centralis (rolandic fissure) and the sulcus lateralis (sylvic fissure) never meet...
    It's like rolando and sylvia want to get together but they never will (still a better lovestory than twilight)

    Awhile lobe just for vision? Even if it's much smaller and accounting that our eyes are very complex, I don't really believe that Occipital lobe could be responsible for vision alone. There is surely some other function that is simply paired up with out vision.
