Disney was so focused on the money that they forgot to add more characters.
Modders for 3.0 gold edition on steam have found assets for a rogue one playset that was suppose to be made. They also were able to mod in some unreleased characters like peter pan, dr strange, spider-Gwen, and the premium figures that were supposed to release, before cancelation.
so many people want this game back, it’s crazy that we don’t have it back yet, like imagine how big a black panther play set would be, or an avatar set

Disney Infinity is still an outstanding game! Well and we regularly have big events where we celebrate this game. Besides the servers aren‘t working anymore you can build so many cool adventures in the toy box.

I've always wondered what we would have gotten in Year 3 of Lego Dimensions.
Probably Marvel and Star Wars. Definitely Arrowverse.
There's an entire list of characters that were planned.
Characters that include MegaMan, Shrek, Godzilla, and a whole lot more. You should be able to find that list through videos.
All that really got confirmed was Vortech being playable, Angry Birds and Minecraft content, The Flash and a 5x5 scanner to put actual builds in the game
I think Disney Infinity would’ve done better if they just did the one game and had the Marvel and Star Wars characters as free content updates like what Lego Dimensions did instead of making three versions of the same game but with new characters.
I’m really bummed that K-2S0 wasn’t a character in the game. It would have been so cool to play as an actual droid. And *if* Disney Infinity comes back, I *NEED* them to bring back the older characters in stores from 3.0 because I can’t seem to find a Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, Ezra, Sabine, and Poe Dameron on any website and I love Star Wars and Disney infinity but if I can’t get those 5 characters then my Disney Infinity Star Wars roster and collection will never be complete!

I’ve never played Disney infinity but the only thing that looks disappointing is there’s no random civilians around the city that’s what superheroes are supposed to be there for

Even if it is a version without the toys.Maybe the characters level is reset but if you have a toy you can put your data on it that way people who have collected over the years get something while new comers or people who want to grind can enjoy it that way
I still got my Xbox 360 and ps4 copies of the games and play them to this day

Disney Infinity could have become a digital game franchise as it was already digital for PC.

Thanos would be an AMAZING character. And I would've liked Wolverine and Doctor Strange in the game too. But Black Panther, and Anakin, and Jack Sparrow will always be my favorites to play as in Disney Infinity.
Hey blitz dunno if you’ll read this but they are working on a mod called the apallo mod for the pc version of Disney infinity.
Basically adding in characters that never made it into the game ranging from Peter Pan, Clu and so much more.
Imma keep my eyes on the mods cause you’ll never know but maybe one day we will see mods for these other characters?
Unfortunately there's just so much they had already designed and somewhat made but never actually got created because it was cancelled. Most notably I remember the Spider-Gwen that was fully designed, Peter Pan, a full Rogue One set, a Moana playset, and I think an Aladdin playset.

Think about this, Disney infinity 4.0 would include: this, Deadpool, thanos, darkwing duck, goofy, Moana, Maui, doctor strange, Peter Pan, and etc. and the play sets would be moana, marvel battleground 2, Alice in wonderland expansion, Star Wars mandolorian, etc. I would love if they bring back Disney infinity but problem is it wouldn’t work for the Nintendo switch. But I really want my childhood to continue.

Honestly I dont see why they don't revive the toys to life franchise in some way especially disney infinity. I get the figures where quite expensive and different character packs got up there in price but if they released another dinsey infinity game they would make bank. Im currently in the process of re visiting the toys to life genre that I grew up with. Skylanders, lego dimensions and disney infinity all being games im looking to re play. Im going to re purchase disney infinity 2.0 tommorow and will be playing through that experiencing the nostalgia for a game I haven't played for years.
