Accept Jesus Christ as our lord and Savior, it is good to confess and repent of our sins, we also need to be different from what made us sinner's. Follow the ten commandments, but remember the most important thing to do is to place God first and love God more than anything else in the world.
Moonie , As noble as that sounds that is not the intent of God in Christ. God Himself made the 10 commandments obsolete.If you are in Christ, there is no law or Ten Commandments for you. The bible calls the 10 commandments the ministry of death. Asking any believer to try to keep them is to kill them softly-They are meant to bring a sinner to the end of himself not to justify anyone. 2 Corinthians 3:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 7 But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, Hebrews 8:7-8 New American Standard Bible (NASB) A New Covenant 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second. 8 For finding fault with them, He says, “Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, [a]When I will effect a new covenant With the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; Hebrews 8:13 Amplified Bible (AMP) 13 When God speaks of “A new covenant,” He makes the first one obsolete. And whatever is becoming obsolete (out of use, annulled) and growing old is ready to disappear. Romans 10:4 Amplified Bible (AMP) 4 For Christ is the end of the law [it leads to Him and its purpose is fulfilled in Him], for [granting] righteousness to everyone who believes [in Him as Savior]. Any attempt to try to keep them cuts you off from Christ. Study the book of Galatians to understand why the 10 commandments was given: Galatians 5:4 New International Version (NIV) 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Don’t get me wrong when you are in Christ you are a new creation and the Spirit of God in you transforms you inside out into the image of Christ. You are imputed with the highest form of righteousness which is God’s own righteousness not based on human efforts to obey laws.

Moonie Bro you don’t understand! The Law was not given by God to justify anyone but to call out our flesh. Anyone who tries to keep 10 commandments brings themselves under a curse-No one but Christ can fulfill them according to God's righteous standards. Christianity is not I do my best and give Christ the rest, it is Christ as your righteousness all or nothing. Christianity is the only religion where your right-standing with God is imputed and not based on adherence to laws-This is what truly gives Christ the glory. Spend some time and read Romans and Galatians May the Lord open your understanding to see and understand the danger of adding law to what Christ has done. All our as believers sufficiency is in Christ alone. Go and read Christ exposition on the 10 commandments even if you look at a woman lustily or say or think something vile you are guilty of all 10. That is why God Himself ended the old covenant and put all our hopes in Christ. Do you know how a believer truly reigns in life they simply accept the gift of righteousness and grace in Christ then trust the Spirit of Christ in them to change them? No one with the Spirit of Christ wants to commit murder but it is a work of the Spirit not the observance of any law: Romans 5:17 New International Version (NIV) 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! Christianity is not about what we do for God but about His goodness revealed in what He has done for us.

Christ does not give laws to those who come to Him knowing they can't do that, nowhere do you hear Him giving laws to tax collectors or sinners-Why? Law is meant to bring you to the end of yourself. A tax collector or sinner is already at themselves they know they are incapable of loving like He states and puts all their trust in Him as their righteousness-That is true Christianity. Now once you submit to the Grace of God and are filled with the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit bears His fruit in you that makes you love like Christ did but it is not a function of a commandment any human can keep but a work of grace we receive when we trust Christ. The love you speak of is a fruit not of the human ability to keep a law but one the presence of Christ in you produces. Galatians 5:22-23 Amplified Bible (AMP) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentlenesses, self-control. Against such things, there is no law.

Accept Jesus Christ as our lord and Savior, it is good to confess and repent of our sins, we also need to be different from what made us sinner's. Follow the ten commandments, but remember the most important thing to do is to place God first and love God more than anything else in the world.
Moonie , As noble as that sounds that is not the intent of God in Christ. God Himself made the 10 commandments obsolete.If you are in Christ, there is no law or Ten Commandments for you. The bible calls the 10 commandments the ministry of death. Asking any believer to try to keep them is to kill them softly-They are meant to bring a sinner to the end of himself not to justify anyone.

13 When God speaks of “A new covenant,” He makes the first one obsolete. And whatever is becoming obsolete (out of use, annulled) and growing old is ready to disappear.

4 For Christ is the end of the law [it leads to Him and its purpose is fulfilled in Him], for [granting] righteousness to everyone who believes [in Him as Savior].
Any attempt to try to keep them cuts you off from Christ. Study the book of Galatians to understand why the 10 commandments was given:
Galatians 5:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
Don’t get me wrong when you are in Christ you are a new creation and the Spirit of God in you transforms you inside out into the image of Christ. You are imputed with the highest form of righteousness which is God’s own righteousness not based on human efforts to obey laws.

Moonie Bro you don’t understand! The Law was not given by God to justify anyone but to call out our flesh. Anyone who tries to keep 10 commandments brings themselves under a curse-No one but Christ can fulfill them according to God's righteous standards. Christianity is not I do my best and give Christ the rest, it is Christ as your righteousness all or nothing. Christianity is the only religion where your right-standing with God is imputed and not based on adherence to laws-This is what truly gives Christ the glory. Spend some time and read Romans and Galatians May the Lord open your understanding to see and understand the danger of adding law to what Christ has done. All our as believers sufficiency is in Christ alone. Go and read Christ exposition on the 10 commandments even if you look at a woman lustily or say or think something vile you are guilty of all 10. That is why God Himself ended the old covenant and put all our hopes in Christ. Do you know how a believer truly reigns in life they simply accept the gift of righteousness and grace in Christ then trust the Spirit of Christ in them to change them? No one with the Spirit of Christ wants to commit murder but it is a work of the Spirit not the observance of any law:

17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
Christianity is not about what we do for God but about His goodness revealed in what He has done for us.
@ The keyword in your comment is "but" that is the cliche of a mixed Gospel which combines human works with grace and renders the Gospels of the Glory of Christ powerless. Who was Jesus speaking to when He made this statement, the Pharisees who came in self-righteousness to trap Him with a question about the greatest commandment. You as a believer have you loved your neighbour as yourself at all times? I know I haven't, as a matter of fact the days the determination to do so is when I lose my cool the most. Christ does not give laws to those who come to Him knowing they can't do that, nowhere do you hear Him giving laws to tax collectors or sinners-Why? Law is meant to bring you to the end of yourself. A tax collector or sinner is already at themselves they know they are incapable of loving like He states and puts all their trust in Him as their righteousness-That is true Christianity. Now once you submit to the Grace of God and are filled with the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit bears His fruit in you that makes you love like Christ did but it is not a function of a commandment any human can keep but a work of grace we receive when we trust Christ. The love you speak of is a fruit not of the human ability to keep a law but one the presence of Christ in you produces.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentlenesses, self-control. Against such things, there is no law.
