We lowkey need a Price so cold he’ll make Russel Adler blush. Also, would love to see a longer video from you talking about major MW reboot characters in regards of what you like, dislike about them.
1:20 Definitely I feel the same way. Makarov Killing other people around price and setting up price's revenge would be really cool I feel like. Like you said a Version of Captain Price where he's on the run from the government would be a really cool idea I hope that's what happens in MW4.
I feel like they missed an opportunity to develop Price further. They should have killed Gaz in MW3 not Soap, Soap was just introduced and shouldn't have been killed. Gaz was already fleshed out in MW19 AND MW22 and as Price's protege and killing him would've had much more impact.
Heck, they could've made that scene so cool too. Instead of Soap attacking Makarov, it's Gaz pushing himself in-between Soap and Makarov, with all it's beautiful irrationality. To save both Soap and Price, to give Soap the chance to get back up, to give them the needed time to finally defuse the bomb. Gaz somehow loses his own gun in the chaos and him and Makarov begin to grapple for the handgun in the background, Price's attention - just for a second - torn between the bomb and Gaz. They finally defuse the bomb, but it's just one second too late. In the same moment they're in the clear and Price looks up, Makarov manages to shoot Gaz in the head and bolts immediately. With the worries about the bomb now out of the way they can get back into action and it just continues from there on.
Cpt. John Price Task Force 141: DISAVOWED A man driven by loss and vengeance while operating off the grid I hope is the next direction if they choose to wrap it all up in MWIV. Like with the 3 year gap between MWIII and MWIV Makarov could have succeeded in starting World War 3 which could raise the stakes even higher. Maybe in between missions we get some flashbacks to when Price met Soap through the SAS and recall old missions that weren't explored yet to add that sense of extra weight to why Makarov has to be stopped once and for all.
I feel like Capt Price didn’t work in this reboot because tf141 did feel like a team. OG TF141 Capt Price communicated with everyone but in this not so much. IDK how the redemption will work much when Price didn’t act alone when assassinating Shepard. The best way would be for him to be captured, similar how two real SAS operators were captured & held prisoners & the SAS saved them. This could be a good way to introduce Delta Force or Devgru into the story too. Gotta have more tf141 characters & Gaz & Ghost need to communicate more. If Price is killed or captured I think Gaz should take the lead, to show what he’s learned from Capt Price like OG Soap did with OG Price!!
they did feel like an amazing team in 2019 but without ghost and soap there it was pointless, even in 2019 WZ it was amazing the squad with ghost but no soap.
MWII and MWIII really dropped the ball with the characters. It's crazy that the OG trilogy that didn't take itself too seriously has more shades of grey than the new trilogy that really lacks sense and nuances.
I feel like they need to amp up the stakes, recruit new members, expand the team but with trusted individuals from team metal, Griggs, Farah, Alex (mw 2019 appearance) and even the other SAS members like wallcroft and griffin show us the stakes and how badly they need to take him down but also expose the team behind him and make sure that soap is honored Also there’s a series you’ll love it’s with Luke evans who’s a badass delta force operative and I heard it was good it’s on Apple TV and it might be your new favorite especially since this is one that follows delta force the US military’s tier 1 counterterrorism unit
In my opinion call of duty modern warfare 4 should show all the characters from the OG TF141 but yeah I hope they don’t kill off ghost I wanna see us mainly playing as lieutenant ghost Simon Riley hopefully they will work all of it out and people won’t hate it like they did for MW23
Modern warfare series should’ve ended with Soap becoming captain and Price either dying or retiring or becoming Baseplate (nod to McMillan). Ghost was grooming Johnny for leadership so it makes sense for that to be how things panned out. In terms of Gaz, he should have died in Soap’s place as he would also technically be up for a promotion after Price departs from his job. They could’ve built it up that Gaz was the future of tf141 and make him into a leader but then tragically kill him off before his prime. This would be 10x more personal for Price and it would make more sense to see Price go a little unhinged. OG Mw Gaz dies first anyways but they could’ve elevated his character more so his death is way more sadder than his counterpart. Shame.
That what I was thinking too, Gaz being the one to die at Makarov's hands, Captain Price possibly dying too and Soap Mactavish being the one to kill Makarov and becoming the new captain of Task force 141, expanding it and recruiting Sergeant Gary Roach Sanderson
@ I completely agree with you. But I do think they should’ve introduced Roach already in mw2 as well as other 141 members. I respect that they’re trying to keep the story compact and focus on character building narrative so they aren’t going to have 70+ soldiers like in the original, but they still could’ve had like 10 soldiers at least. Make them feel like a proper legit task force.
@ I agree, I think at the end of modern warfare 2019 when captain price was creating task force 141 when he called out gaz, soap and ghost, I think roach was definitely on one of those last files when price said "now the rest that’s need to know"
@@lukeseeseequasis5416 that’s definitely what the devs were referring to at the time. Mw2 should’ve bounced off right after mw2019 and be about tf141 (16 soldiers) going after Zhakaev. Al Assad (aka Hadir which is another thing they didn’t do properly) should’ve also been a target throughout the game as well.
A interesting story he and task force 141 are on the run from the government shadow company or a new character. Division is brought into the mix, and they are seen as the heroes of the story while our main characters are out trying to avenge their fallen soldier.
The Iw developers have said in the past when they’re done with this story for modern warfare that they would want to tell spinoff stories to some of these characters like a solo ghost story, the origins of soap, MacTavish and gaz
Funny how a rebooted story very quickly wanted to just be the original trilogy again. I feel like Mw 2019 was an amazing step into retelling these beloved characters in a brand new light but it just quickly went to shit. Fuck it let’s have another U.S invasion
We could have had a story arc revolving around Andrei Nolan seeking revenge against Gaz for humiliating him back in St. Petersburg as part of MWIII's post‐campaign plot if they had not been so focused on getting that bag. 💰 In fact I was actually thinking if they had waited to release MWIII until 2025, Raids could had returned and this would had been the perfect story to follow Then Warzone could had saw TF141 dealing with the goverment, Shadow Company and especially Graves seeking redemption after his actions. He could had been set up to sacrifice his life to maybe take Nolan out for the Task Force. Edit: This is probably gonna be something I'll write into my MW series rewrite. I had to scrap everything and go back to the first game 😞
Sorry for bothering with this even came up on my mind the other character that is the disrespected character they use are in one of the videos in the modern warfare series I’m talking about Alex Keller that guy I want to move on in modern warfare 4 to be playable and to get his time to shine and have a good moment with captain price or even see a flashback scene of a reunion because in MW three he was waste in MW two we only got a man DLC but in MW 2019 that was the greatest character when we got introduced to this new saga I don’t know I just want to see even a video on that if you agree with me or not?
I was quite disappointed about the soap's death. He never had direct chat with characters like Alex Keller. I didn't even see him Properly communicate even with Gaz😮💨. I hope MW4 would be extremely good, because the last one was horrible!! 🤮
We lowkey need a Price so cold
he’ll make Russel Adler blush.
Also, would love to see a longer video from you talking about major MW reboot characters in regards of what you like, dislike about them.
I'd love to work on that. Thanks for the idea.... and yeah, we need a price like that 🤣
I’m Definitely Like To See Commander Phillip Graves And Shadow Company & Task Force 141 In Modern Warfare 4
Me 2

Yeah that's true
I agree. Gaz was the equivalent to the reboots soap in terms of connection to characters.

That's a good idea and a good way to incorporate soap for a mission or two
With the departure of tone of the main writers from MW19 and MW2022, i doubt we’ll actually see Price’s character utilized in the fullest.
I feel like Capt Price didn’t work in this reboot because tf141 did feel like a team. OG TF141 Capt Price communicated with everyone but in this not so much.

He’s definitely not gonna be taking prisoners with mw4
After soaps death he’s now bloodlusted
I would love to see Royal marines in modern warfare 4
I really hope Barry Sloane isn’t bored of Cpt Price yet… He portrays the character amazingly and I wanna see more of him just like you 😢
Absolutely

I need to see Metal Team, Rangers, Roach and potentially move its way towards Task Force Stalker 👀

in Modern Warfare 4 Ghost kills Vladimir Makarov

Captain Price is the face of modern warfare And it deserves a leading role in modern warfare 4
True
I hope modern warfare 4 is good like mw19
I want graves to be apart of the story
we don't need another cod in the first place..

From now on He's going dark
Dawg look at the og mw3 they need to bring the og plot back
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 soon
We get dirty and the world stay clean that’s the mission
Price was captured in the Raid.
Was he
@@BranWolfYT yeah, he gave up his gun as same as Farah and Alex
I personally do not like the Reboot Captain Price. I prefer the OG Price. My favorite character in the Reboot MW series is Phillip Graves.
@jamescpapg i love phillip graves for sure! And that's crazy I really enjoy this price when his written well
the only way to save the rebooted franchise is by going back to the mw2019 storyline.....
I woulda rather have him die in mw3 tbh. It would of allowed Gaz, Soap, and Ghost to each take up the mantle
We also need valeria
Ofc
Task Force 141

Probably too much to ask for a but an actual multinational TF141 would be nice
