Jordan was tough as nails, never gave up, never took a break on defence “managing his energy”, never flopped, played through hard contact, could not be stopped other than by age. LeBron loses his nerves, Flops in a time where defenders literally can’t touch you. A LeBron in the 80/90s would probably perform similar to a Karl Malone or Charles Barkley, a superstar for sure but not on MJs level.

I saw him during his prime myself, but you must not have even watched these highlights. It’s full of him abusing big men and embarrassing them. There was no Defensive 3 seconds rule back then, So Jordan had to score with multiple players right on top of him. Not like this soft ass era today. actually you might wanna look up the resume of both players.
i wont even take into account team achievements like championships(so the 6-0 wont be thrown in your face here).
      just look at individual accomplishments.
jordan accomplished SIGNIFICANTLY more than lebaum.
and not just that, he did it in SIGNIFICANTLY fewer games.
if you accomplish more than your peers in less time, you are superior to them.
the gap is so huge that if you take ONLY the accolades that jordan got that lebaum didnt.....you'd have an AMAZING nba career.
here's a comparison of just individual accolades(not championships or finals mvp, etc, just individual things):
      regular season mvp:
      jordan 6, lebaum 5
      nba all-star
jordan every season he played, lebaum every season he played
      all-star mvp
both have 3(even when jordan played fewer seasons)
      scoring championships
      jordan 10, lebaum 1
      defensive player of the year
      jordan 1, lebaum 0
      seals leader
      jordan 3, lebaum 0
jordan had 2 seasons with over 200 steals and over 100 blocks. lebaum zero.
if you take those differences and bestow them on a random player, he would instantly become a legend:
      1 season mvp
      9 scoring titles
1 defensive player of the year
      3 steals leader
2 seasons with over 200 steals and over 100 blocks.
      that's quite impressive.

I remember watching Michael Jordan doing these things as they were happening. You knew what was going to happen, yet you were still completely in awe of the sheer greatness that was on display. There was no TH-cam for people to watch highlights whenever they wanted. There was the live games and SportsCenter. That's it. People from all over the world were glued to their TVs when he played. THAT'S why I believe he became a global phenomenon like we've never seen since. Along with BILLIONS of other people, I wanted to be like Mike.

Great reaction senorita! And the only thing Bron does better than Black Jesus is flop and devise super-teams - that's it! I'm old enough and fortunate enough to have seen prime Jordan in person, and I have also seen prime Bron in person, and it's not even close. Jordan had the faster twitching muscles, superior bounce, hang-time, mid-air body control, footwork and he had the killer in serial mental. The only asses that think Bron is better are his fans and NBA role players (Kendrick Perkins, Ryan Hollins, Jay Williams, Al Harrington, JJ Redick). While real ballers (hall-of-famers) like Cousy, Baylor, West, Russell, Magic, Bird, McHale, Worthy, Shaq, Hakeem, Ewing, Mourning, Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, Iverson, Kobe, T-Mac, Payton, Garnett, Webber, Paul Pierce perceive MJ as the GOAT. Even today's best players like Leonard, Durant, Curry, Tatum, Doncic, Zion, Donovan Mitchell see Jordan as the greatest ever. Think about this for one second - four guys (Wade, Kyrie, Ray Allen, Anthony Davis) that have helped Bron win chips all think Jordan is the GOAT. One of Bron's best friends (Melo Anthony) also thinks Jordan is the GOAT. The masses have spoken and it's unanimous.

Another aspect of MJ's greatness - that is rarely seen in highlight videos - is how incredible he was defensively. He won the 1988 Defensive Player of the Year award while also being the Scoring Champion with 35 points per game - without missing a single game all year ! And that was in a league with *much* more physicality, where Jordan would regularly get pushed by defenders while going to the hoop ! Not to mention, hand-checking was still allowed, which lead to much lower average scoring - and a lot of bigger players used a lot of force while hand-checking smaller players to try to tire them out.

Great reaction! To answer your question, those who think LeBron is better than MJ most likely didn't watch both of them a lot during their eras so they don't know better. LeBron imho is the GOAT runner-up, but there's a pretty significant gap.
And FYI, the big men MJ dunked on back then were generally all 6'11" to 7'1" - although one of them he dunked on was 7'7" Manute Bol, shown in this video. MJ at 6'6" had good height for a shooting guard, but was certainly not tall. Average NBA height back then was 6'8" (nowadays it's between 6'6" & 6'7", with big men being de-emphasized compared to back then).
