I have a white TR3A much like yours, but over the 52 years I've owned it I've replaced the top 4 times....The first 2 I bought from Sears roebuck for $99.00 apiece, I bought one from JC Whitney (Chicago) for about $150 ...The last one I bought a few years ago from either Moss or Victoria British for around $400 with exchange, duty and shipping. I went with white instead of black, but I've actually never had it on the car except once just after fitting (over 12 years ago).....My sidecurtains are black ($99.00 Sears Roebuck) in the '70s ...So, mine looks kinda cool, like a Panda bear....When I replaced the plexi in the sidecurtains, I went with copper tinted Lexan, but I've hardly ever used them either (Amco)....It has an all black interior with a wood overlay dash...I sure wish the parts were as inexpensive now as in the 1970s, but 52 years has given me lots of time to "experiment" ......I want to do the center instrument cluster in a tooled stainless steel overlay someday, like those '30's classics....John (west coast, Can)

This car was originally red with black interior and had a white top and white side curtains, all of which were beyond repair, so I painted the car white and put red interior, which I thought might look nice, and then a black top and black side curtains. This is the second top I've gotten as the first one was so cloudy it was getting hard to see out of. Looks like they're $460 now, and the side curtains are $1400. The top is still in good condition. I found that you have to wash it gently with a soft chamois and avoid rubbing it hard or it scratches.

The flap you cut off is there for when it is raining out. It will keep the wipers from splashing water up into the roof area and soaking the interior, and you.

I've run this in the rain and it has one small leak at the top, near the middle, where the rain gets in. If I had kept tension from side to side all along the top, I would not have that leak, but there is a small wrinkle there that has a gap.

Hello, I am looking for the user guide for the installation of the cover. Could you please tell me where you find it? Thanks

I can't remember if I got some instructions with my Robbins soft top or not. I kind of think I got the front flap instructions, but I'm not sure. I do see an article that has the instructions.

For the hood straps, that was a crucial measurement for me to get a good fit, and a good place for that is

I don't know. It would have made it easier, that's for sure.

@@triumphtr3stuff338 Because the cars were hand made so each car has a slightly different pin pattern.

Your killing me!! Your poor paint. I like the vid. It is useful to see others do it before you but I cringe every time you hint your paint.
