    Massive thank you for this!
Just getting into IA and playing through the Legends of the Alliance app, when I'm done with that I'll be using this next (looks like loads of replay value).
Thank you for all your hard work!

Sick, is there a way to subtract fame if you accidentally defeat a unit in the app when you didn't mean to?

No, but you can simply manually decrease threat by the respective amount and keep in mind how much less fame you would have gotten. 12 fame equals 1 award, so it's easy to count back. For details, see here: github.com/Noldorion/IA-Imperial-Commander/wiki/Mechanics#adaptive-difficulty

Why the app doesn't just track all the minis on the map? It would be so much easier if the game knew where everything is and just display the instructions that are possible to perform.

Multiple reasons. First, that's WAY easier said than done. It might be easier for the players, but it's almost impossible for a tiny fan project. This would mean creating a full-blown AI for Imperial Assault, an AI that could read a map, react tactically and strategically, take into account all the positions of all the figures at every time and be aware of all abilities. That's a huge amount of work, and I've never seen any board game companion app (even official ones) even try to attempt this.
Because, second, at the point where you have all the information completely in the app, all the figures, map tiles, deployment cards and so on... you're not playing a board game anymore, you're playing a video game. You wouldn't need any physical components anymore, you could just play at the screen. There's an audience for that, and there are many great video game adaptations of board games - but that's not what Imperial Commander is supposed to be.

@@imperialcommanderapp8549 Thank you for your swift reply. I agree that having everything in the app would botch the board game experience and it's outside of the scope of this project. Tho AFAIK Tabletop Simulator has a mod that fully implements the IA tho, so maybe it's not such a monumental task if it was achieved before by a small team or even one modder.
