🙌🙌Another amazing video ! The 80 and 90 the best era of WRC !! 👏👏👏🏁🏁🏁 THANKS
Glad you enjoyed it
Those amazing Escorts, early group N Evos, Subaru and Colin creating a rallying legacy. Such a great era
22:02 - Nice piece on Perth and the langley park SSS, I’m a west Aussie and as a kid was excited when the rally came alive in Perth,
Langley Park forever the best ever Super Special Stage in rally history.
Wee col....sold more scoobys and video games than anyone... lucky enough to see it all crazy days..cheers 📼 👍
Note of interest:
It's the final Rally GB to see WRC works teams (A8 & A7) blitz through Grizedale stages.
nice BTCC Renault in the background at 2:50
9:38 lololol i remember this one when i was kid we used to say when black cat cross your road go home
Politics are never a good thing.
RAC had it spot on from 95-2000
Then they stupidly allowed 4wd machines into the British championship, which promptly destroyed it to the point it has never recovered.
Funny thing is, this feels like only a few years ago
The best era was group a
Showroom cars you could buy and turn into a monsta
This stuff today tho 🤣🤣🤣
How come there were so few WRC rounds from 94 to 96?
In 1993 there were 13
In 1994 there were 10
In 1995 there were only 8
In 1996 it went up to 9
Then in 1997 when the WRC regulations were introduced it went back up to 14.
It was due to event rotation
WRC didnt exist as a class til 97 did it?
I was there on the very last stage when Colin he won and within the last few hundred metres
Yet another great upload. I have an odd enquiry, has anyone submitted the 1996 RAC for upload yet?
Wait a day or two...
Great memories, great days!!
Colin was a reckless liability who wouldn’t have kept a drive if he wasn’t Jimmy’s son.
I feel like those 25 career rally wins say otherwise..
@@AlexWilliams-gn6ud BINGO!!!!
@@AlexWilliams-gn6ud Besides, all these years later, We don't have the Carlos Sainz video game series... Or, the Carlos Sainz Limited Edition Subaru.... Or the Carlos Sainz Car meets around the world... Now do we?? lol
EdH, That comment indicates to me that you don't really understand the sport, or the business of rallying very well.
Yeah Nope. They don't give World Championships away. And if you race rally cars and you're pushing the limits, you're almost crashing on every corner.
