    Just wanted to say your doing a hell of good job on that truck. It's nice to see someone take the time and not rush to make sure it's done right the first time. The classic quote of, slower is faster in the end. Keep up the good work maybe someday we'll meet in the woods.

    I figured the pink-paint on the wrecker was original, and that's why it was so faded, but now I see it's just because it had a home-blown 3rd-rate paint-job put on it, it wouldn't have taken much more time or money too put a good-one on it tho, thanks for sharing.

    I am no expert but I have changed a few old chevy leaf springs out and they were not that bad to take out, certainly easier than taking out all the rivets. I used an impact gun added some oil to slick them up then hit them out with a hammer.

    • @Jamesfyi
      @Jamesfyi 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      gilliland426 Those are military 37" Goodyear MT. They aren't the best in any category, other than cost, but they are good in mud, snow, rocks, pavement, and durability. They can be had for fairly cheap ($50-$100 per tire) on Craigslist or from someone who has a contract with the government that buys them in giant loads. Also, they fit a 16.5" wheel.

    Enjoy your videos but you do drag things on a bit. Like the 5 part series of getting frozen truck out. You could of gotten rid of most of the 1st video. Mostly driving got boring. You could of shown loading everything up then flashed forward to getting there. You don't need to show every little detail.
    I believe you would have better content and more subscribers if you did little better editing.
