I was doing some postgrad work when this album came out and I bought it and felt as though I was the only person here in US who even knew it existed, which kind of made me feel like I was getting away with something (but in a truly good way).
I was a kid in the 80s and the memories of the smiths playing in the background wearing a badly knitted jumpers and the smell of petrol. Wish I was a kid again.

This takes me back to high school. Whether listening to the cassette in on Sony Walkman or my Soundesign Ghetto Blaster, this Smiths album takes me right back.
It is a great song, but don't get me wrong. The Queen Is Dead has so much great stuff on it it is hard to give this the nod as the best. I mean, frankly mr. Shankly, Bigmouth strikes again and The Queen Is Dead itself, As Good As It Gets
