crazyalcayne yeah man. That’s all I did as a kid, was look for things to cross up off and gap. Now I’m in my 40’s and looking to buy a skyway to do it all again.
I love this video so much! I think it pretty much sums up BMX to me I watch it all the time. Ilove the fun and simplicity of it and the sheer joy of riding and riding whatever even curbd because it's FUN!!! THANKS I APPRECIATE YOU!!! And can hook us up with a " how to" invert/table top video? Thanks again
FreddyBoomBoom's Channel 1985 Thank you for your comments, I'll definitely be doing more this year. I been thinking about doing some "how to" videos too.
Peace peace, eyy dog just wanna let you know you got me motivated to actually ride again and ive been going for gaps and stuff i usually dont , thanks keep doin what you doin, idk why but i keep coming back to this
Love that bike. I have an old skyway galaxy that I've put on weightloss. If it wasn't rain here today I'd be riding. Awesome video. Love the tuff wheels.
Hi! I’m thinking about getting white 24 skyway mags for my 2017 SE SoCalFlyer! I was wondering on your review since your really use them for jumps and all that! That bike is amazing!
Thanks! I recently put a pair of 24" white Skyway's on my cruiser and I like em. I haven't done anything crazy on them yet just a bunch of endos and bunny hops. They look so clean I kinda don't want to get them dirty lol.
@@crazyalcayne do you think a 100 kilos man could break them while jumping? im 6,4” and only reason i didnt switch to mag wheels yet is cause im afraid to break them
@@cghiotto The regular Tuff wheels flex and it takes a lot to break them but it depends on what you do. The graphite Tuff wheels are stronger and stiffer. They haven't been in production for a while but you may find some in marketplace and sites like that.

Dude. No way! I'm 49. I had this bike ...I traded a new hutch for it. I was 14...riding quarters learning how to table top lol...some dude I ran into at base park told me he would give me a bike with landing gear forks and z rims. The lightest bike ever. My parents were pissed when I showed up with it. But man....the boys at the park wanted it. This couple of wanna be pros always hanging out said I got ripped off... But by the next year I had a local TV station coming to watch me and my friend ride a new half the park built....I was pulling 12 feet....Mainly fakes and table tops returns 180s etc...But I was known for how damn high id peg the gage. I only wiped out once when I had a friend put stupid pegs on my front end. They clipped the coping and I never rode ramps again. Got into my drums more and only flat street. Seeing this Skyway is amazing. Anyone that knew bikes back in 80s knows Skyway TA was light and tough. The zrims were scoffed as gimmick and cheap and people claimed they caused landing wipe. I never had mine cease fully enough to cause It. I was like 110 pounds. Hahahahahah. Skinny kid that on a windy day. I wouldn't touch the ramp...its crazy now people do the same on motocross. Hahaha.
Don’t believe that.... These wheels were indestructible in the 80’s. They were a huge improvement over the Tuff Wheels 1. I would think 30 years of technology would only make them stronger. You’ll shed pounds once you get back to riding!!!!
@@rough-sawnskateboards6169 Mags look cool, but I think they are better for old or retro bmx’s, if you have a modern bmx mag wheels are easier to break, flex, and are heavier
I’m 220 and wondering the same thing! I only plan on lawnmowers no big jumps. But with the lawnmower you are putting all your weight on the back mag just want to make sure it doesn’t snap!
@@crazyalcayne Thank you, I would like to buy a new Skyway 2022 edition, but I cannot decide if I get the 20'' or 24'' frame... I have a 1987 GT performer, and it is a bit small for me..
It depends on what your using them for. They look amazing, they don't bend but they do flex so they're not as stiff as regular rims but you won't have to true mags either. They eat the life out of brake shoes so get some good one that will last longer. If you want a stiffer mag, get the Graphite Skyway's. Those are pretty hard t find these days.
@@crazyalcayne I’m 220lbs and was looking at skyways but am worried about snapping them. I don’t plan on big airs or jumps. But I do want to lawnmower which puts all my weight on the back wheel sideways at that. Do you think the normal tuff 2s can handle that?
@@firedemon2166 It really depends on the type of tricks you do. for the most part they flex. I think I broke on year and year ago. I was running low tire pressure and hacked hard on a quarter pipe. If I had on rims they would've bent too . They're good for most tricks but when you get to the more difficult tricks and big stunts, you'll really feel that rims would be better suited.
@@crazyalcayne Hopefully one day they will make better mag wheels for bmx in the future, lighter and stronger than wire wheels, anymore riding of this bike?

Thanks!! Gotta love the good ole dayz!
Love the Skyway bike & wheels! It’s amazing how you are doing almost tabletops & full x-ups with hardly any jump to come off of
