Hey Mike - unfortunately I dropped my bike a couple of weeks ago. Your bars (front and back) protected my bike 100%. Not a single scratch on my bags or anywhere else. You make a great product!
So, the remaining bag bottom bar that was cut actually slides inside the Santoro bar, which has an inside diameter to match the outside diameter of the cut-off bar. This is good. Wish the video would have shown this.
I can attest that Mike gets back to you with questions - and yeah, my bike looks very cool. I can also attest that they work (yeah, I may have dropped my Road King - with NO scratches!)
