It also means trusting each other to do right by each other & putting ourselves first like other ethnic groups do. Most of US do not have a sense of self preservation as a group. Whites put themselves first, Asians put themselves first, Hispanics (culturally) put themselves first, Jews put themselves first, Middle Easterners put themselves first, blacks globally are at the bottom no matter the ethnic group. Right now you have Asians taking over the African continent and the Caribbean treating Africans and Caribbeans as 2nd class citizens in their own countries because the leadership in those countries are selling out their own people which seems to be a narrative in black communities.

We blacks don't wanna be black because it's so hard to be black so we look for the shortcut and the shortcut is the introduction of the ending of our souls. He's making a lot of sense. When he says blacks needs to be more racist, he's not sayn that we should hate whites. He's not preaching no hate message. I love and respect David Banner and I know I'll catch some flack but I think his views are hypocritical. Money is debt. Saying that we need to acquire the money in this system that uses money to oppress us is simply encouraging more kids to get on the hamster wheel. It's all about the dollar which is controlled by people who don't care about you. This is just my 2 cents and again I respect and admire David Banner for speaking his truth but I do think that even in his message, it's a hamster wheel mentality. Doctor DL in a perfect world man. Listen I'm 100% Haitian. I lived there the first 18 years of my life and I'm not complaining. Cheadle is an amazing actor and I'm confident if the material is right he will do it justice. Also, he can physically pull the part off in terms of believability.

I don't know anything about this production, but I do know how Hollywood moves. The writer _may_ have wanted to put a Haitian actor in the role but the producers/financial backers may have said "if you want this movie to be made, we're not using a Haitian actor." Don Cheadle is a big draw so the producers will know that his name alone will go a long way towards recouping their investment if his name is on the billboard.
I once heard an interview with some producer of one of these movies about the Egyptians and he said that that's why he'd cast white actors in the lead roles - because he was told by the studios that if he tried to cast people named "Mohammed", he wouldn't get a dime.
