When calculating for the regular mini's dps, I said that you can place 10 rangers instead of 7. with 7 rangers, 3 commanders, and 1 DJ, that gives you 29 slots, 158DPS x 29Minis = 4582DPS.
Also you can place 10 rangers if you say otherwise ur wrong >:)
You have to consider 1. The fact that you arent always gonna be playing solo and therefor wont have those max 40 slots
and 2. they also take up a LOT more space than G Mini due to beeing just more in general, meaning some might be in worse spots leading to less covering of the map and so less damage in total.
A higher DPS does not always mean its better
I actually think the new balance between regular and golden is really healthy, since it doesnt make golden minigunners just outright better than regular, and gives you a better tower than the original while keeping the regular one for niche solo strats
Personally, definitely not, the max gmini's rev up time is quite a hassle, but gmini still has better value, higher range, and is more dense, meaning you can fit more dps into less towers, making it better for quad and trio
It's still a 50k gold tower (at minimum), the pros are nice but having it be somewhat situational makes no god damn sense. It should be a clear upgrade from regular mini. As it stands I just don't think it's worth it
He is awful when used in boss fights like void reaver he never able to damage him due to the ridiculous revs up time and void reaver's stun spam and he is worse on boss like awakening fallen king or nuclear monster
Like... he have that much damage just to hurt normal and hidden enemies?
Sure i know medic exists but waste another slot for a tower to fully unlock its potential is meh (and medic kinda useless beside boss wave also)
Gmini rev up time is not good,and that also means enemies can get pass easier

Bruh, g mini has only 40 dps more than regular mini, and its more expensive plus placement limit, so g mini totally loses.
Fun fact: Once people opened the golden perk for minigunner, most of them never switch to normal minigunner. For example: Me 😅
Fun fact: cowboy is the only golden that people still switch back to normal version due to his different spike on both version
He is not an upgrade he likes an alternate version of the normal cowboy (like the 2 spike in pvz2)
@@WilcentEdwardnormal cowboy used to be better than the golden cowboy but then after golden cowboy got buffed basically everyone that had golden cowboy never switched to normal cowboy(like me lol) unless they want to do like a challange or something

And while spamming lvl 2 normal cowboy, the golden cowboy will just be spam for level 0
he already got damage and cash for that level upgrade only to waste your money on early game and make cowboy make less cash
So you can actually spam level 2 g cowboys while giving you more cash and dps while normal cowboy is just kinda mid ngl
Max g cowboy gives 250 cash while normal cowboy only gives 180 and g cowboy deals more dps
Meaning that g cowboy can defend early game way better than normal cowboy@@WilcentEdward

guys, remember that u can put 15 G minis and like other 25 militants or 8 accel and cowboy spam etc.
In fact, Max Mini + Max DJ (red track) + Max Merc Base has bassically the same DPS as Max G Mini
for more than double the price

I love how back then everyone complained how g mini had no placement limit and was outclassed by every other dps tower except in solos, and now everyone is complaining how its not good for solo anymore and is only good for multiplayer. Really shows how yall just always want something to complain about for everything… I hope you guys open your eyes and realize that there is a word in the dictionary called “b a l a n c e”.
Golden minigunner actually made me lose on solo fallen rocket arena, whereas replaying it using the same strategy with normal minigunner I easily won.

Honestly even tho G mini got changed. I'm glad that no placement limit best solo dps tower aspect were moved onto regular mini instead but also making it better too. Not taking that away.
lets note how in order to directly get gold mini, it costs 70k in the shop. this means that golden mini has a whopping cost of 78000.
Simple answer: just don’t use golden mini if it’s solo/maybe duo, and use normal if solo
fym? 15 placement, you’re not just gonna bring gmini, you’re either bringing gmini + dps with support along with farm
15 g minis, 6 engis, 1 dj, 7 rangers 8 farms. 15 gminis, 8 accels, 6 engis, 1 dj 8 farms which will be more efficient rather than using regular minis
gmini is rather worse in trios/squads with a placement cap of 20 and 25 while gmini has a placement limit of 15, 10 extra towers wouldnt be enough for support and extra dps
G mini place limit and space is way more efficient, also remember g mini has 2 more range, its seem not too much but it Important

like this is the same situation as engineer and accel and so does the golden mini (if you playing with many player then engi,accel and gold mini are all good but if you are solo then normal mini is a win)

Regular minigunner: cheaper, worser value, higher placement limit, more space wasted (due to the golden minigunner supposed to be a powerhouse)
personally i think ergular minigunner and golden minigunner ties when it comes to duo
ranger + engineer tops all combos i dont care

tbh, g mini is better than reg mini mostly because that you'll most likely find other players to play with, and 15 placement limit is very high tbh. it's practically better to use g mini, as the 15 placement limit is too much when you're in a match with other people. in a quad, 15 placement limit is pretty much useless, while in solo, u also can get other dps towers. g mini basically on top
Gold Mini is Built for The Meta, The Meta is Mutliple Dps Towers so a Placement Limit is A Change That dosent Really Affect it
Gmini is better for playing with multiple people, and regular mini is better in solo

personally i dislike the gmini changes. it made gmini go from "objectively the best solo option for dps" to "another generic dps option in duo trio or quad"
It was not worth 75-50k coins but now it's worth it
The placement limit is killing what was the purpose of it in the first place, a spammable DPS
The whole point of golds is you can spam them (not crook and cowboy for obvious reasons) having the option was still good.
it had to be made for gmini to not be useless outside of solo though
funnily enough, now nmini is stuck in that dilemma of being a god in solo matches, but practically irrelevant elsewhere
@@thatonedude920no, gmini is great everywhere, since ur teammates can bring good loadouts (medic, early game, sub dps) while u bring gmini, commander, dj, merc and farm. even on quad, u can place all of those towers and not lack anything.
