For me, I feel like after Nick left, the show got so much funnier. I thought Jon Ritchie got so comfortable as Artie's sidekick, the twins and Mike as comedic material. I miss this show.
I think DirectTV would have definitely kept it going past the 3rd year, if not for Arties addiction relapse potential/issues. It was a great show. Also, on that point - it IS Arties personality ( warts and all ) that made the show great to begin with.
Yea, it sucks man. These two really ARE good friends but they had clashing styles in the sense that Nick was willing to do what was required of DirecTV, while Artie was still struggling with his addictions. The reality is that they are both gritty comics who really complement each other, but professionally are at different places.
I'm pretty sure Direct TV was simply losing money and I doubt this show was bringing in a ton of viewers. It had more of a small cult following. At least not big enough for that studio and staff.
Artie in his prime is the funniest dude alive.
Nice try, Artie.
Absolutely I agree

Artie and mike are back on a podcast now called Artie’s Halfway House
Nick and Artie was better as a two man radio show. When it became a whole night show, Nick just didn't seem into it.
Arite Lange as Biggie Smalls is the most hilarious shit ever.

they spent the whole budget on trinkets to decorate the studio and artie's food budget. Can't afford heat.

This show was the greatest. I still watched after Nick left but it wasn't as good. Plus Jonathon Ritchie has the personality of a dead moth.
Wildly accurate.
I didn't watch either while airing but post nick has the far funnier videos. Nick and Artie was too sports focused albeit a sports shoe.
That's 4 softball games, that's 4 softball games

Fuckin price tag still on Arties pink vest. For Breast cancer you know.

Artie has to lean back so that his gut doesn't take him right to the floor.
Where's the clips of Artie nodding on heroin?

Mike was actually in better shape than artie hahahahh

The show was great when it first started getting the studio and nick leaving killed it now its unlistenable
