2 YEARS LOCD | DIY Microlocs Update

New subbie! Wow, girl your hair looks 🔥. I am almost 6 months braid loc'd. Mine still shrinks to shoulders. I am definitely waiting for that drop to happen as my hair was around BSL to mid back when I first put them in. Your locs are so pretty on you. ❤❤

I made a difficult decision about my perimeter which is much much thinner than yours. I ended up corn rowing my frontal edges and single braiding the nape. When I go out I unbraid the cornrows ..run a moist wash cloth over them then slick them down with a tiny dot of Mango Lime gel. The nape I redo about once a month. I find that this way it prevents my edges from having any extra weight from the locs. Also, it is easier to keep them from gathering product or lint. So far it’s been working.
