Your 5/8 Axel? Where did you get that? What material is it?
Man I had a hard time finding something that worked

how did you connect the boards? nails, bolts, screws? And did you buy galvanized iron pipe?
How has the pipe held up to the weight of the sailboat? I'm asking these questions because i'm also building a dolly for my sailboat, and want to know if you, with the benefit of hindsight, would change anything you did to make the dolly better. Thanks!

Wheeleez wheels they are most suited for the beach which is over $100 per wheel. as lawn tractor front tires are adequate and cost less as they should do the job and not dig a ditch in the sand. if in the water i would recommend a stainless steel axle. the lawn tractor tires the universal replacements come with 5/8 and 3/4 bushings as most tractors have 3/4 spindles. the wheeleez wheels the 16.5 X 7.9 wheel they come in either 3/4 or 1 inch axle sizes as im building a wheelbarrow for next year's beach trip and the Wheeleez wheels two of them will be used. the others will use the lawn tractor tires the 15 X 6 -6 tire size.
