Thank you - the tip on removing the roller cover was what I needed. Went on line to HP and it was not at all helpful - HP8020. Looks like I overloaded the paper tray - about 10 sheets of paper fed and one got really jammed. Much appreciated.
Thanks for your video. After I change paper, I have a horrible time putting on the plastic gray cap on the paper tray. It doesn't seem to line up correctly whereas yours seemed to snap in place.

Hello, can you please help me. I Did a paper and put some whiteout on the paper( the white out was the roll on like tape) and now ever time I make a copy from the top I get 5 or 6 lines on the left side of my paper.
Hi. Yes, that shouldn't be too hard to fix. Open the scanner door where you will see glass. There is a narrow glass section on the left. That section of glass needs to be cleaned. That is most likely where the white out stick. It may be hard to see, maybe little dots, but you should be able to get them. ERY IMPORTANT: Do not spray any water or cleaner directly on glass as the liquid will get under the glass. Spray at a towel or paper towel and wipe glass. Alcohol works well on cleaning stuff like white out as it dissolves any adhesive. Please let me know how that goes. Thank you.
This didn’t help but with my printer, the box where you click ink cartridges into was stuck on the right, I semi had to manually pull it to the left and it seem to unjam that piece and finally got to working. I turn off and on the printer and tugged left when you could see it wanting to go left. I had this paper jam error immediately out of the box 🫠

What’s the thickest paper it can handle without jamming?
According to the printer specifications, thickest paper is 24lb thickness (US/CAN), or 163 to 200 g/m² (card) for metric

Getting document feeder jam message with feeder gears turning. Followed all steps. No paper in unit. There appears to be a small plastic lever on the white pressure plate which does not seem to be in place. Feeder gears do not turn as much when I try to swivel this lever, but still get message. Need a parts manual...
8025e say clear jam and there is no paper jam.....ink cartridge tray does not move when I open top to check ???
