Frank Sinatra Bulova Show “When You’re Smiling” 1951 [HD Widescreen-Remastered TV Audio]

Sporting a mustache, Frank sings and swings his way through this popular tune. “When You’re Smiling” was written 1928 by Larry Shay and Joe Goodwin. This audio track was fun to work with. When you have a swing tune, bass is a must, and there wasn’t any in 1950s TV audio. I started with 10 decibels of bass, another 10, another 10, then 5, then 3, and finally one extra decibel. The treble and horns were also brought up. Now the song rocks.
