This video was sitting in an extra hard drive. I forgot all about it. Bobby ROCKS through the tune made popular by Tony Bennett. The 35m video footage of San Francisco was filmed by my grandmother, Catherine Monje, around 1950. There are a lot of video flaws, but that’s not a bad thing. It adds to the charm of the video. “I Left My Heart In San Francisco” was written in 1953 by George Cory and Douglass Cross

"For peace and understanding"... Those lyrics apply to today's world just as much if not more than they did in 1970. Jerry Vale does a bang-up job with the song. "A Song Of Joy" was originally a Spanish song based on Ludwig van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. The English lyrics were written by Ross Parker and Waldo de Rios. The video is stock hippy footage.

I love this song. “Only You” was written in 1955 by Buck Ram. It’s been recorded by dozens of artists including Ringo Starr, Little Richard, Brenda Lee, and many more. The Platters version charted #1 on Billboards Rhythm and Blues Chart. This scene comes from the 1956 movie "Rock Around The Clock". The audio came out so good, it almost sounds like stereo.

I forgot all about this tune. This song started out as a single, the flip side was “Where Love Has Gone”, It was later added to his charting album “Have You Looked Into Your Heart”. “Love Goddess” was written in 1963 by Percy Faith and David Mann for the movie of the same title. Accept for Percy’s instrumental, I think Jerry was the only vocalist to sing this.
