Employee Town Hall

UAB hosted a town hall for all employees, including UAB Medicine employees, on January 8, 2021.President Watts and Provost Benoit provided updates and answered questions. UAB's Spring 2021 Testing Strategy was also presented.

As a non-medical UAB employee, I came here for the information on vaccines for faculty (1b group), which starts at 41:45.
The new sentinel testing program for spring, starting at 12:15, was also good information.
Really, the whole town hall was filled with useful information. thanks.

Clarifying one point that is not clear from other information put out on eReporter and UAB United website, you *cannot* successfully register for a Verily account prior to the Jan. 15th date given as the start. You email has to be provided to them by UAB and as of 1/13/2021, this is not ready (at least for me...). UPDATE: Still cannot do this successfully as of 1/19.2021 and no one at any of the support lines in the line of succession (Verily, the one they send us to 866-839-5308, Student Health Services) can figure out what to do for faculty.

Had a similar issue, email stated that I was "required to maintain an account", I tired to register and receive an error.
