This is not supposed replace or compete with the original. If you look at my channel, I do these with some of my favorite Texas classic songs for promotional purposes for the beats I have for sale and also just for fun.
Like PIMP C said mane , "Ro da Coldest in da Rap game and not Just in the South". Z-Ro a Lyrical Monster/Singer/Producer. PIMP seen the GREATNESS in Ro before the Rest of da world got hipped. R.i.p to PIMP Chad and I salute him giving Ro his flowers 💯
@@ridgemont_4963 did I? I think majority of people on here like it. And again, this just another version. Back in the day, a remix was when they when release the same vocals with a different beat. It wasn’t to compete with the other one but rather give it more life to be listened to again.
It sounds good no doubt, the beat hard and in general i like it, but it does feel like it takes the pain away from the song and thats what makes it what it is, beat makes it sound like its suppose to be happier or something @EssayPotna
The original beat matched the lyrics and you can feel the music, the pain, the struggle, the streets and everything through the whole album. This beat is nice but it's not matching the feeling and emotions that the lyrics are painting.its too upbeat as if the reality of going through that life is something that's joyful or something that is fun. I really hope the original zro albums don't have a revival and remaster like this
@EssayPotna to a degree yes when you look at the whole picture but I didn't say the beat was joyful sounding. I said it was upbeat as if the life he's explaining is something to be joyful of when in reality it's hurtful hard and stressful to the point it drives people insane or to do things that they feel they must do with no other options or people to help them out of the situation. When you understand the picture and feelings being painted with his lyrics it is a upbeat kind of ride jamming out with windows down through the city have a good night with your homeboys vibe at least to me it does. It's a dope ass beat farreal you got skill no doubt but this song in its original form is music that speaks to people that understand what it's like. But you made it a bangin jam. It's not a bad thing or disrespecting your work that's not what I was trying to do. it's just like taking a mural and turning it into a painting with a slighter brighter color scheme if that makes any sense. It just doesn't speak the same to the ones who have seen it already. But this is just my opinion and everyone has one but it is an honest opinion
@@robbyashley3167 I think people don’t understand remixes anymore. Back when remixes started in hip hop, the beat changed around the lyrics and gave them a different vibe. No one same “give me a remix beat that feels exactly the same as the original”. What would be the point of that? I would try to build another painfully constructed beat to compete with the original. That’s not what a remix is.
Z-Ro's style is heavily influenced by Klondike Kat and Pharoah of Street Military, they've been around as long as Bone if not longer, they harmonize and rap fast, they were his neighborhood OG's he grew up around.
