Love how you're doing studio first, then live if it exists. Might as well just go through all their songs from beginning to end. Love to hear your impressions! Good job.
For the next album first song whole lotta love do the live version from msg 1973 its a couple of years later and you can clearly see their confidence grow in the few years its my favorite version
I know how you feel, its the same what i feels ! You know how much i love Led Zeppelin and all songs and with every song they brings you on a higher level ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Not sure why some like that version. Didn't resonate with me. But I'm just a 50+ year fan. I thought it was overlong. JPJ, Bonham and Robert kept trying to rein Jimmy in. But that's just my opinion. I'm sure you'll shoot me down.
Yes, there are many more LZ albums for you to enjoy. Seven more + Coda (a compilation of previously unreleased songs). Yes, every LZ song takes us on a wonderful journey, and none of the journey's are the same. I love this concert. Not a single miss along the way, and it shows just how early on they loved to improvise, which is why studio and live versions often sound so different. Sometimes they'd mash songs together, like one big jam session. That's probably the biggest reason to listen to the studio version first, otherwise you might not know exactly what the song sounds like. Also why trying to read lyrics during a live performance can be useless. ;) Excellent concert from start to finish. Glad you enjoyed both the song and the performance, and I enjoyed your reaction to both. Thanks! :)
the words are from an old blues song... if they had 11 kids then shes not a school girl anymore, i think its just a sayin that you met her when you both were young, I know hispanic moms call their little girls mamas, just a way to talk
I can't say what or who he's talking about, but they had an underage groupie that followed and possibly traveled with the band. In one song he talks about waiting for her to turn 16 (legal age) so he can have his way with her. Jimmy had a 13 year old girlfriend at one point as I understand it.
Thanks for the Led Zeppelin
My favorite band since 69 😊
90 Led Zeppelin songs and Fire 🔥
They are truly amazing! Lol...I love Jimmy too!

You need to see the 28 minute version of Dazed and Confused from MSG 1973, and the greatest guitar performance ever recorded!

@@lindasulla5302 So happy to see this comment I totally agree.

Yes indeed!
This live version is almost totally improvised!
I believe this performance was on Jimmy Page's birthday 🎂
Legal age of consent in some states in America was 13 in the 70's. I believe it was also in other countries at that time.
Masters of adlib.
They sometimes stretched a song out too over 30 minutes. There's a live version of Dazed and Confused that's 42 minutes long.

Robert plant did have affair but not with a under age girl with his wife's sister n had a son

Totally wrong. Please remember that these are songs and not diaries.
Back then and typical blues, little girl and young girl is a form of endearment not a creepy thing at all. Kind of like “babe” is.
