SUMMARY: The story of David and Goliath encompasses the whole of I Samuel 17. It's a familiar one in which we find a virtually insignificant shepherd boy, one called by God, who shifts from the acted upon to the actor when he steps out to take on the 9'6" hero of the Philistines. What "giants" are you called upon to take on?
