    My mates had a laughed at me putting a 7 hybrid in the bag for the first time on Sunday but I hit 14 greens and shot +1 taking all their money so I don’t care. Makes golf so much easier.

      Too much ego in golf play what works for you. I now play 5wood, 7wood and a 5hybrid. Loving the forgiveness. Actually love out driving my playing partners and when they ask what I hit off the tee “7 wood”

    Nice to see I'm not the only one. I ordered the Rogue Max 3 Hybrid and Rogue Max 5 Wood. I know the lofts are similiar, but they fit my gapping.

    Last season I dropped the 3i out and put in a 7w and 4&5hybrids. Move to MP20-MB’s 6-PW and have never been happier with the top down setup and gapping. Of course having said that I’m a complete magpie and tested the Ping I525 irons in an attempt to address my approach game stats to shade off those last couple of strokes to get into Cat1 for 2022!

    Great vid again Andy. Our yardages are remarkably similar. The difference is, I've gone MP225 6 - gap (strong lofts) and added 21* and 24* hyb, then 54 and 58 wedge.

    I know few people who work for a sport's shop and they tried the Stealth on course for a few rounds, all of them said it tends to spin up too much and none of them are putting it in their bag. I have read this from people online too.
    I play the Ping Glide 3.0 wedges and was waiting for the 4.0 to come out, but given the IMHO excessive price I'll be looking to pick up some more 3.0 wedges at a knock down price.

    Standard Stealth Vs Rogue Max seems a bit mismatched given the Stealth Max is designed to reduce a skice. Not surprised you prefer the look of the Stealth given the draw bias in the Max. Great view in the background at the end.

    It has to be nice yet somewhat difficult to test so many clubs, it is great to try new clubs but also there is more trust in a club you have had a while and used on many shots with different variables. Enjoyed the video.

    Why not try the Rogue Max LS driver! No draw bias and a much more traditional shape with apparently the same forgiveness as the Max. I hate draw bias as my miss is left. Most is my face angle at impact. I plan to try the Max LS and the Stealth real soon. Now I can’t get rid of my older M2. I’ve tried all since then till this year. It’s 10.5 cranked down to 9, so it’s more open. I’m 66 and our yardages on clubs are real similar. I’d like to find a tad more forgiveness and yardage off the tee!

    Andy, great vid, currently game Glide 3.0, I love the W gride BUT is the W grind in 58 going to work for high soft/flop shots when you open it wide open? Esp off firm sand or ground? Im debating this at the moment, is it better for a W grind on 54 and maybe the T grind for 58? then all types of lies are covered?

    I have a big problem this year. I'm playing stiff shafts and it seems to be hard work now. I've tried friends clubs with R and SR graphite shafts and it seems to be easier to swing them, with good ball flight and no obvious distance difference.
    But.
    I don't want to change by Gen 1 0311 irons because I have serious money invested in them and I like them.
    Reshafting the driver is relatively straightforward; the irons not.
    So not long to decide what to do before the season starts 🤔

      @davidgeorge5344 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    My yardages are similar to yours, but your Driver yardage seems low for your nice swing. I get 220-235 carry with my 3 wood (PXG), and I got 250-260 carry with my new Mizuno ST-Z driver on simulator (yet to try outdoors). I would think you'd get at least 250 with the Stealth.

    What an interesting set of carry numbers. I am marginally longer than you with 54 wedge to 8i, about the same with the 7i (and driver) but you have a definite edge over me from 6i to hybrid and a country mile longer than me with your 5w. Some of that maybe loftsw as I play i210s, but that does not explain the 5w - I clearly need some lessons with that club!

    Slowly but surely you are leaning very much toward dropping a few irons and adding in a few hybrids. I get so tired of this silly ego stuff. Just find the equipment that works for you. Make fun of me all you want but my 7 hybrid from the fairway just landed on the green while you pushed your 6 iron. I made it a point to own a good driver, a good putter and a few Vokey wedges. Besides my lonely 8 iron all my other clubs are hybrids. I hit longer and usually stay in the fairway. Be serious about your course management. That alone will save you 3 or 4 strokes. If you can find confidence in your driver and practice the hell out of your short game you have nothing to worry about.
