Paper Cherry Blossom Tutorial - Free Cherry Blossom Template For Cricut | Abbi Kirsten Collections

Nothing says Spring quite like some gorgeous cherry blossoms! Cherry blossom flowers bring a fresh, bright pop of color to your Spring decor. Today, I'm teaching you how to make these gorgeous paper cherry blossoms with this free, beginner-friendly tutorial.

0:46 - Supplies you need to create paper cherry blossoms.
3:27 - Step 1: Cut out the cherry blossom templates.
5:10 - Remove cut blossoms from cutting mat.
5:40 - Cut the center blossom templates.
6:20 - Step 2: Distress and shape the cherry blossom flowers.
7:02 - Add distress ink to cherry blossoms.
8:59 - Use the Abbi Kirsten Collections paper bloom shaping mat to shape the cherry blossom blooms.
11:18 - Step 3: Begin building cherry blossom bud with floral wire. Trim down the floral wire.
12:21 - Thread the outside bloom layer onto the floral wire.
13:42 - Add the center of the cherry bloom.
14:33 - Wrap each cherry blossom stem with floral tape.
16:25 - Step 4: (Optional) Make a closed cherry blossom bud with a cotton ball or wood bead.
20:00 - Step 5: (Optional) Create leaves for your cherry blossom stems.
21:30 - Step 6: Assemble the cherry blossom branch.
21:56 - Form clusters of cherry blossoms to add to the branch.
22:30 - Wrap clusters with floral tape.
23:40 - Add the cherry blossom clusters to the large branch.
25:30 - Add the leaves to the large cherry blossom branch (if you made leaves).
26:05 - Decide how many cherry blossom clusters you want to add to the branch.
