So fitting to have Patrick Fabian host it. Spending that amount of time with Howard post-show was much needed.

Hah. Better yet. Lalo and Howard made a picture hiking on a hill together, with the quote "we're friends now"
My thoughts exactly. Apart from him being a wonderful actor and speaker, I think that’s why they had him narrate this. We all needed some more Howard in our life after that last season

Not only Lalo was the best villain in the show, he was the only main character that speaks a spanish I can understand as a native speaker
I mean, you got Don Eladio and Hector
What about Gus?😅
Their spanish is very difficult to understand, they don't speak clearly. I'm a native speaker and I need subtitles to understand what they are saying 😅. I have asked friends and family and they don't understand them either.
What did you think of Bolsa? I heard people say that his spanish is fine but he's got the accent wrong

I thought Tuco was the most badass violent Salamanca until Lalo showed up. What polar opposites and both just as psychopathically deadly. One comes at you like a raging bull, the other with a smile on his face.

Not only did they make 1 of the best shows of all time...they made 2 of the best shows of all time, back to back, with 2 of the best main characters in television, a prequel that was just ad good if not better than it’s predecessor. That is crazy they deserve all the praise they can get, it’s monumental and something that I don’t think can ever happen again or be done nearly as well!!
12:13 - What's actually brilliant about these photos (I'm hoping) is that Fabian's travelling Instagram photos were used at Howard's wake, lmao. Not sure if these were the ones used, but that'd be absolutely brilliant to watch that scene again knowing Lalo was in them, too.
Yeah, they were used at the memorial, but they did crop out Lalo for the sake of continuity lol
Imagine if Lalo was there
Jimmy and Kim's jaws drop as they enter the memorial.
Tony Dalton nailed Lalo. To think that Saul screamed those names and they had no plan for them and made this top teir show I’m floored!

imagine a spin-off buddy-cop-like movie where lalo's trying to seek revenge for his death but has to babysit howard after they both dug their way out of the superlab grave.
Oh my goodness that's so cute. Reminds me of BoJack Horseman and Mr Peanutbutter in a way
God I love Patrick Fabian
howards death shook me far more than nachos, nachos was still shocking yes but howards death came out of nowhere for me and it made me get up and think about what happened for a solid hour
Nacho's death was very impactful but it was almost guaranteed, he was a dead man walking.
Patrick Fabian was one of those great surprises that BCS brought to us
Howards death was one of the more shocking things I’ve seen in tv. I yelled No at the tv when he was shot. It was really well written.
I would’ve been the same if someone didn’t spoil it
I was watching at work & my coworker asked what was wrong cuz I was just staring at the screen with my mouth open.

patrick fabian’s voice is so satisfying for some reason.
Patrick Fabian is just ridculously good as a host of a show.
Howard Hamlin does a great job here at playing Patrick Fabian
The photos of Pat and Tony smiling together on some hike is one of the most surreal things
Patrick Fabian, this guy is..
I don't know why I like him and his character that much .
His whole personhood is like a throwback to the unjaded early 80s and someone I would have seen on TV during that time. That's what it is. I think that's why I like him so much.
I've been that person breaking down on the bus (literally). She nailed it. It actually brought me back to that moment in my life and I cried.
Fue realmente impresionante.
omg patrick's johnathan was perfect
37:12 I am in utter disbelief that her outfit is not purple.
It’s symbolic and quite sad, showing how after hanks death the color was drained from her life
Patrick's character and his performance in BCS is one of my favorites. He did such a perfect job at portraying Howard. His voice and demeanor are right on.
25:06 Yo! Mistah white! Dutch called, he was wondering what time you’d be coming back to camp for one more score.
3:44 It feels like Saul char is an news achor with all those cameras during set lol
I still can't move on from Howard's death. I've seen some spoilers accidentally before even watching the whole series, but it's still the most shocking, gut-wrenching, and heartbreaking death in the BCS-BB franchise. I felt so bad when I slowly began realizing where Saul and Kim's plan was leading. They did this man dirty. By far, the most tragic and undeserved death.
I don't know. It felt like a close relative or friend who tragically died, and I still couldn't believe what happened, or maybe because we shared the same birthday. I don't know if that makes sense. I can't help but shed a tear every time I see a video of Howard Hamlin, especially that scene when they showed his and Lalo's corpse sharing a grave or even the actor himself, Patrick Fabian, during some interviews. His character's death felt so real to me in some way. I think I immersed myself deeply into this series and franchise that I've gotten so attached to it and its characters.
"I never seen it, I heard it's good" AHAHAHAHHA
Kim was truly one of the best characters out of this whole universe. The writers do such a good job at fleshing out these characters and make them feel like people, not just characters.
Thats what got us all the way into it

Patrick Fabian. SAY. HIS. NAME.
Love how Patrick Fabian is literally still in character in presenting this. I´d never seen Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul until a couple of months ago, saw a couple of cool clips on YT (the personal protection scene with Mike) and started watching Better Call Saul first. 2 episodes in and I was hooked, binge watched Better Call Saul the Breaking Bad then El Camino right after each other. Brilliant writing, acting by all the cast. Such interesting character arcs. By far the best show on Netflix by some margin. Having seen this, I could binge watch the whole series again.
If you don't mind me asking what's it like watching bcs first, was there any missing context or spoilers for BB?
@@flyingpeanut1031 No, I dont think so. For me, the narrative from BCS developed naturally into BB, rather than been seen in retrospect. The writing is so good, it gives the whole background of Jimmy and how he became Saul, and how that led him to meet Walter, the main characters in BB are referenced in BCS, even with a small cameo appearance from Jesse when Saul first starts his own venture and breaks up with Kim.. as she walks out, he is outside waiting to be seen and asks her if Jimmy/Saul is any good. I didn´t see BB first, as there wasn´t really hype about where I live, (Scandinavia) so only picked up on it from it being briefly mentioned by a couple of friends and pop up clips here on YT. When i´d seen clips of BB on YT previously, it somehow spark my interest as much as BCS did (As I previously mentioned, it was the garage bodyguard hiring scene (Where Mike takes the other guys gun) from BCS that got me interested, as Mike seemed pretty bad ass.
@@alanwaterworth6464Interesting, well I'm glad you liked it, I wish I could wipe my memory and watch in the order like you did, I don't really watch popular tv series as it can't hold my attention, only exception bieng the breaking bad universe, truly perfect writing through and through despite the memes. Greatest show, wonderful actors, iconic characters, we miss better call Saul ! 🥰
Great Mini-Doc, really going to miss this show, the characters, and the universe of Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
I like to think that bringing Marie in for the finale was a subtle nod to all of the Hank Schrader memes that kickstarted the resurgence of Breaking Bad’s popularity in internet culture.
I find it kind of symbolic that Lalo and Howard are burried together. On one hand, you have Howard, a lawyer that wants nothing to see but justice be done and good behavior compensated. On the other hand, you have Lalo, a true cold-blooded murderer who lets no one and nothing stands in his way. But we all end up the same way.
Patrick Fabian should be a host of something on TV. And Howard's death really put the character in great context for me. I have so many new favorite actors because of this show!
