I followed only syllabus but i will recommend you to not repeat my mistake, try to give a quick readout to out of sylabus topics too cause there is a probability of it in upcoming test. i missed more than 5 mcqs of such type that could have marked correctly if i have just read. and dont waste time on practice just read it for recall
Here's a summary but before that watch 12:53 chapter as It is the most important. 💠 Revision strategy 💠 🟢 Revision strategy is different of almost every person as far I have discussed with my friends that qualified Mdcat. But I will provide some tips and ways, follow the one which relates. 🔶What is revision 🔶 🟢 Covering syllabus multiple times isn't revision in my view because I think revision is all about reading a large content in short time. 🟢If you remember in the first post and video of Mdcat Masterclasses th-cam.com/video/uLNftQEDEgA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DElYbEimMnLOD0wz (syllabus go through strategy) I told you to not waste time on sticking to one chapter by just overthinking that I have to prepare it 100% as it's not possible all at once so don't confuse it with revision. 🔶 Intervals or Time for revisions 🔶 🟢 Giving a day in a week isn't as effective as daily 2-3 hours, personally my time of revisions was 4:00-6:00 Am as is time Meri effeciency zyada hoti ti but you can decide any time of your routine. 🔶My way of revisions 🔶 💠I divided my revision into 3 phases. 1) when the course was incomplete my revision strategy was to revise it tomorrow what I read today. Like if I did 3 chapters today so I read out it tomorrow In my revision time (4-6 am). My routine is already shared in community chat.whatsapp.com/BvcC2afxrGNLRKSV5c4aj. 2) The second phase was when I completed my syllabus, ♦️In this phase I shortlisted all important high yield chapters as well tough materials like kingdom animalia, inheritance or other hard things along with imp points in them. Shortlisted all of them on a page Jiski SS mene video me share kardiye Hein. ♦️ And shortlisting mene only tough points ki ke thi because I only had 2 hours for review so I can make long notes, I have shared ss in video th-cam.com/video/D0SYkaikjjo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nCpPcBGvFkP4mW1L . I only focus on things which consumes too much time causally. ♦️After this phase all hard points were on my fingertips now syllabus par grip strong thi so phase ended here. 3) in third phase jab tough materials bhi yad hogye then I gave these hours to Books. As I told you earlier I had a strong grip so in a few hours me book read kar leta ta so in this phase I focused more on memorizing whole book each and every line. But once again it's just reading don't wast much time on rote learning. ~ this was my strategy for revision and the time for it. 💠 Resources for revision 💠 ♦️For physics initially when course was incomplete I used to revise my notes tomorrow when I prepared it today. Like aj waves karliya Kal subah revise kardiya. After course completion formulae shortlisting se revision karta ta. ~ remember physics me apko revision se zyada practice chahye to make a strong grip on these formulae as well concepts. ♦️For chemistry depending on the portion I am studying like whether it's physical Chemistry, organic or inorganic.
