Urvashi is at par with pvr, Cinepolis or Inox in screen size, projection and top sound effects. My favourite theatre for top good movies.

This is my top favorite theater. I love watching a movie in Urvashi Theatre (although its 20Kms far from my place still prefer it and its worth it). I still remember that IMAX also couldn't match the experience of Bahubali 2 sound/quality which I watched here. Big fan of Urvashi Theatre.

+Prasanna Navaratna hi yes definitely its my favourite too it has the best experience.and the guy who tuned the system told me that the best place to sit is right in the middle in lower stall not the balcony in the l or m row. so do try it out and let me know how it was. its pretty far from.my place too.

urtechtoday exactly, I never prefer Balcony, always lower stall. Hardly once or twice watched in balcony and it was not as good as lower obviously.

+Prasanna Navaratna ya thats absolutely true. the guy who tuned it had come down from usa i think his name was dave a sound engineer. after the theatre he was flying down to Chennai to tune ar rehman's studio. such a down to earth guy. was amazing to meet him.

Sankar G I too watched recently 2.0 bass isn't found like earlier... Now a days the Bass in Urvashi is completely missing... Feeling sad for it!

Urvashi Theatre is Just for Sound.No Theatre(IMAX theatre or Dolby atmos theatre) can come to close in India for its sound effects. old ambience and avg seating are cons but sound sound sound.when they go for full sound anybody can sense thier heart and nerves.

Hi yes definitely and their christie 4k projectors are also really good. They were one of the first theatres to use 4k projectors at that time.

The Best Theatre in India for Sound Effects and picture clarity NO MULTIPLEX IN INDIA COME CLOSE TO IT(especially for sceen and and sound but average seats and AC)

hi it lets the sound pass through the screen as there are speakers behind the screen and also helps in increasing the contrast and gives a slight film grain effect in digital video projection. this is the knowledge i have.

As I am from Ranchi and have been visited various multiplexes.
They are good in the visual presentation but they are lack in good captivating audio.
Even in 'fun cinemas' Ranchi they use only stereo surround audio.
This is the embarrassed for me. I am just an engineering student,and you know better than on this concept.
