I absolutely love love love your channel. In quarantine while everyone is reading tons of books daily I haven't been able to read a single book I dont know why, but seeing your videos and the way you talk about books just makes me want to try harder and actually read. Love you!

That B@N is my local bookstore. I live a few blocks away. I went there a few days before it shut down. The libraries were already closed, and so were cafes and my health club. When I went in I was surprised at how many people were there. And they were buying books. The cafe was serving, but you couldn't sit there or anywhere else in the store. I ended up buying just one book, which I read in a few days. Fortunately the public library gave us a day's notice before they closed, so I went and took out a stack of books. But I really miss going to B@N. And your video brings back such good memories of a different time.

@@bipedalspider2248 You can. I have a lot of physical books but I've read them all. Also, can't ask my parents to take me to Barnes and Noble since we're in quarantine, so it's online books for now!
I really loved Chain of Gold!! I think it’s my fourth favorite overall, after LoS, QoA+D, and Clockwork Princess, but my favorite first book in a Shadowhunter series. It had my favorite parts of Infernal Devices and Dark Artificies, and I can’t wait to see where it goes. I think it may have had my favorite cast of characters ❤️❤️

Hey Emma I’m really glad that I discovered your Chanel. I love and enjoy watching all your videos. Thanks for introducing me into the shadow world, you got me into reading all the mortal instruments and now I’m currently reading clockwork prince💖
I'm 18 at the moment and started reading her books when I was 13. When you said you met her when you were 18 I was thinking I would love to meet Cassandra Clare but I hate crowds and its not because I'm antisocial its because I fluster at social interaction but I've got better at talking to people and I hate the fact I let it get the better of my daily life to the point I have no friends because my friends didn't understand why I didn't like crowds and why I would always sit in the corner in cafes and restaurants.
U have same problem as me. People often think i am rude but they fail to understand that i am not myself when i m in a crowd
So good to see all the books! I miss going to the bookstore and look at all the amazing books on the shelves!

Chain of Gold is an amazing book! I thought it was the best one she's written by far and cannot recommend enough. I'm so glad I got tp read it and vlog my reading of it on my channel.

I went to the signing on March 4th in Dayton Ohio and I had a blast! I sat in the first row for the Q&A and I got to meet Cassie for the first time and she was so amazing and kind, I'll never forget it!
Cassie's comments on the difference between fictional men and women in love are so interesting! I haven't given much thought to it before now, but it's true that men in love still seem strong while displaying vulnerability. I love how Cassie chose to portray a woman who was in love and still strong in spite of (or more likely because of) her vulnerabilities. I look forward to when quarantine is over so authors will continue their book signings and public events again! Thank goodness we're still getting new books published during quarantine even if we can't attend author events right now. :)

Thankfully I got to meet her in Lexington before lockdown and it was a birthday present from my parents. Literally the best present I’ve ever gotten (and I got Taylor Swift concert tickets one year from them, and Taylor is my favorite!) But Cassie wrote happy birthday in my book so I will cherish it forever! And when we were talking about Endometriosis she said that SHE admires ME for everything I’ve had to go through and all my surgeries for it and I almost died.
I was SO lucky to be able to meet Cassie for the first time in Ohio a few day’s after the NYC event. This was right before the
lockdowns happened. Meeting Cassie was a dream!
I had to rewind because I was like “wait a second is she reading Girl in Pieces?” Yes! I LOVED that book!
