Nice to listen to an honest review by someone who appreciates these bikes for what they are. I'm waiting until they've been round the houses a bit, to see how they bear up. Hopefully CCM will have nailed the vibration issue by the time I can afford one! Currently trolling around on a CRF 250L....if only Honda had stuck some decent suspension on it and increased the capacity...
Hi Nathan, good review, those videos are a nice addition to your website. Would love to buy one myself, but trading in my Sertao is not really an option right now...
If only it wasn't so expensive. They even import it to where I live, which is something of a miracle, but it costs more than a fully equipped family hatchback.
Thanks Ginny. It used to be but due to a bit excessive use they closed the entrance. People do still sneak through but it's a shame as it was a great little riding area. It just used to fill up with the helmet-less motocross crew.
Good review, however I'm baffled by your last comment, you don't see it as an adventure bike, just a day to day bike? bizarre that, its got a 200 mile tank range, its lightweight, relatively low tuned so not highly strung, well made, luggage ready.... I'm perplexed .
NomadBiker it was as lib narrative. I don't always get across what I actually mean. an adventure bike is an anomalous term. it's obviously a bike suited for an 'adventure' but I mean that I'd probably look at it as a great bike for more local to mid range work rather than long distance round the world stuff. just because I think it's a bit wastes as just a long mileage bike. it's better off road than on so even if you just bought one to trail ride in the UK then I think it'd be in its natural element.

Nice review mate, I think it sounds lovely... I've been a year travelling on a 250 but have done long trips on drz and live the format. :-)
