    Thank's for your video, nice to see another G310GS.
    Have ride my bike about 16000 km now and enjoy it very much here in Sweden.
    A nice modification is to change the front sprocket from original 16 teeth to 17 teeth (ordered the original BMW sprocket) and on the sixth gear the revs go down about 500 rpm at 100 km/h.
    Nice upgrade for me that make touring on this bike, and it is still enjoyable on gravel roads.
    Drive safe and have fun 🙂

      nice one, I have read a little about the 17tooth, might explore in doing months, being limit of the 110km speed limit here 16 is ok, and a lot of fun in the dirt, but open to learning and trying it out. happy fellow adventures

    Your observations are spot on.. Having the Rallye version in blue myself I find this a very rewarding bike.

      thank you and awesome to hear, 40Ks of happy times :-). very solid set up on the 1st Gen, do you find you use the ABS button often? or just ride through?

      @@ausetour500 I sometimes use it when I remember, I don’t really ride fast enough to get good use out of it.

      @@motonickaustralia1126 I can relate :-) I find if the ABS is 'operating' I tend to be in a bit of a tricky place and its a good thing..

      @@ausetour500 yeh. I find it’s best used on steep downhill tracks as being able to lock up the back wheel can be handy.

      I can relate to this, I had the bike off and rolling in gear to avoid over shooting corners while up in the snow a few months ago

    Got same model and colour as you. I am fine with front suspension given my weight of 63kg, but I think I need to upgrade the rear shock for off-road. It's my second bike and will be great for my son's once they get their L's. Overall I think it's a very well-balanced machine, its frugal in terms of running costs and just easy and enjoyable to ride.

      great to hear, have you had a play with the pre-load not he stock rear shock, it did make a difference to my ride. There are a good range of upgrade options out there

    Loved the video. New 310GS owner here in Melbourne (first ADV bike). Are you able to share some of those tracks around Wombat and Mt Macedon?

      @ausetour500  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cheers, for Macedon, its up towards the Memorial Cross, fire trails when open in the area, mostly summer. and for Wombat, most in and around the Bullengarook end / side

    Can you imagine if it had a 21” front wheel

      IT would be an interesting option for sure. I hope to see a Rally Raid modified one in the flesh one day and do a side by side
