Regarding the permesso renewal for students, does one need to fill SEZIONE 5 - DATI VISTO and SEZIONE 6 - RICHIESTA RINNOVO TITOLO or only the SEZIONE 6 ??

Thank you for the informative video. I was wondering if you could clarify something for me: is it necessary to be in Italy and physically go to a post office in order to obtain a 'kit giallo'? Can they not, for example, be downloaded, or obtained from an Italian embassy/consulate in a person's country of residence?

I'm an American who is married to, but separated from my Italian wife. I returned to the U.S from 2013-2017, then back to Italy.. stayed a year or so, then back to the the U.S. Went back in 2022 and was told my Permesso soggiorno was no longer valid. I'm now retired and returning to Italy soon to get my permesso soggiorno back.
Question: will i have to start completely from the beginning or is there a possibility of reactivating my old Permesso Soggiorno? I also have 2 daughters in Italy. I had a valid Permesso Soggiorno from 1996-2019 circa..

Hello! Do we have to go the Posta Italiana of the same city where we want the appointment at the questura?
Example: I study in Messina and I need to do the appointment for the Questura of Messina, but can I do the procedure of filling the Kit giallo in a Posta in Rome to schedule for an appointment in Messina?
Yes you can go anywhere, you just have to mention to the postal worker where you are sending the kit
