This song gave me the courage to get my life back and to walk away from drugs. Thank you for opening that door for me. Much love to your and the gift you gave to so many. Much love
WOW and I mean WOW! I've been a fan of Halestorm for about 3yrs and it seems like I keep rediscovering them. Now I admit I have not sat down and listened to every single thing they've done, but I've a huge play list. I would love to hear a duo with her and Kelly Clarkson on this.
I have just discovered Halestorm and am completely mesmerized by their talent. Love the sound, dig the lyrics. Lzzy looks like the birthchild of Joan Jett and Steven Tyler, but in such a sexy and fresh way, Heavy Metal style. Amazing, dynamic, and definitely worth total rock star status. As an avid Pat Benatar and Pink fan, I now have a new, strong, female lead rock star to join the ranks among my all-time favorites. As I always say to a musician friend of mine, Rock on, Rockstar!
"Incoherent Truth serum Just enough to make me BULLET PROOF!! I'm so over this love gone violent I'm DRUNK and BRAVE enough to SAY What sober couldn't SAY-!!
Great band and a lot of her songs give me the insight I need for dealing with the stress of falling madly in love with a lady I've known as an acquaintance since childhood and only recently gotten to know on a deeper level, and having been accidentally reconnected by mutual acquaintances at a time when she's been going through terrible bouts of depression and anxiety from past relationship experiences. Someday, I hope to be the one she invites to 'Break In' and rescue her from the effects of the crap others have put her through. She's ten years younger than my late wife, and that's actually the only reason I didn't notice her in a romantic way almost 40 years ago when we first met.
It would take very few small changes to the lyrics to make this a song about unrequited love. As is, this song is superb. Changed lyrics would also be superb.
"Criminal in my mind, I've been doing time, believing in the lie that you still loved me. Making up for slamming of the door, always wanting more but never giving. Sick of crying, tired of trying always buying into every kiss. Not this time, I'm gonna say what sober couldn't say, couldn't break through under the influence of you." Ugh this is life.
lzzy's written so many songs on relationships from varying situations and multiple points of view but the lyrics seem vague to a degree and leave me wondering what couldn't sober say? what is she so brave to speek out about now?
while that is true i just wonder what the exact words were, not to mention when i wrote this i was trying to segway into a theory that many of lzzy's songs told a connecting story. a story about a woman hurt who became something much stronger and darker and accidentally hurting others, see "innocence" and "i'm not an angel"
Savannah Johnson i remember when i first developed this theory i had two songs in mind "i'm not an angel" and another song that was most recent (sorry for the delay my life has been so fucking hectic) in which the lines "i don't think i'll fall far from grace" and "I fell from grace both stuck out in my mind and made me feel as though those two lines couldn't just be a coincidence, maybe they are but to me it feels like she is trying to tell a tale, whether true or no, in her music, in a rather out of order sense.
Yeah I was going to say the same thing about the middle lyric. What sober couldn't say Couldn't break thru Under the influence of you Incoherent, truth serum Just enough to make me bullet proof I'm so over this love gone violent I'm drunk and brave enough to say What sober couldn't say I do love this song it is pretty.
the song is about a man or woman they just fell out of love and couldn't find a way to communicate sober and when that happens you just need to get out from under the influence of each other
I think of it as more of a relationship hitting rock bottoms and getting toxic or abusive and maybe she's been holding so much in and couldn't break off those chains nor speak up the truth of how she's been feeling but when she's under the influence of drugs or drinks she's courageous enough to let it all out ❤️
love this song it has me sitting her thinking if I had a bottle of jack or vodka I would down both bottles and then I would walk up to the man I am still very much so still in love with and tell him how I really feel
+Brian Westmoreland Annotations don't appear on mobile. The first time I saw this comment I couldn't see them but now on my computer I can see everything.
Have to give a thumbs down since you don’t even have the lyrics right as pointed out many times in the comments. The whole song is about someone getting up the courage to leave an abusive and violent relationship and you can’t get the most important line of the song right.
Nothing ruins a great song more than putting the wrong lyrics-- uugggg--- you seriously thought the lyrics were I'M SO OVER THIS,, LOVE DON'T BUY A LOT 🙄🙄🙄🙄
This song gave me the courage to get my life back and to walk away from drugs. Thank you for opening that door for me. Much love to your and the gift you gave to so many. Much love
Hope you're doing well and strong like Rock 'n Roll \m/ this genre gives us all life
Congrats! Kinda ironic tho since the song is about booze helping somebody stick up for themself.
The lyrics are "I'm so over this love gone violent" (the song is about a woman finding the courage to leave the abusive relationship she's in)
Or a man, trust me violence is genderless
@@manuelcruz398 I say woman because it is a woman singing 🤣

I really like this song. "I'm over this, so over this..." I know the feeling.
The lyrics are "I'm so over this love gone violent"
Was in a friends vehicle a few weeks back and heard some of your music.. And I am thankful to her for that... Love their music!!
This album, on repeat, in my car, always.

"Im so over this love gone violent."
Just correcting that line in the chorus
Beautiful and I can never get enough of this group.
Can't get enough of this band !!!!!
Nathan Reynard me neither it is like crack in rock form
Heck. This song so true. If I am drunk or out of my mind. I tell the truth. As sober as I can be. You will never know the heart of me.
+EverydayEvilGuy- I know what you mean. Even sober or not truth always is the way. She needed to walk away from him.
Sad, you are that way. 🖤
🖤
What an amazing voice. So happy to be Sober now and say what I should say, calm.
I love how her voice can be soft or heavy!!
Literally have nit heard a song that hits me so hard in a really long time..
U and me both girl!

That would be my assumption too. Maybe it's a sequel to miss the misery or inspired by it in some form.
Try using your fucking imagination
Its about having to be drunk to say what u really mean when you are in a situation that u shouldn't be in
I’m sober & brave enough to say!!!
Love this
Yeah I was going to say the same thing about the middle lyric.
What sober couldn't say
Couldn't break thru
Under the influence of you
Incoherent, truth serum
Just enough to make me bullet proof
I'm so over this love gone violent
I'm drunk and brave enough to say
What sober couldn't say
I do love this song it is pretty.

they play it on the radio in Kansas haha
Yes they do. Im in Clay Center
Luny Moon they do sometimes
They’re played on Rock 108 Amarillo, Texas
It’s mainly their mainstream songs
Some of the lyrics are wrong.
This is more like a pop song, and well, it's hella good too!
this song is so true
love it
To me it's about "fear" and the illusions and false sense alcohol potrays.
This reminds me of my last 6 years w my x
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻Lzzy, Arejay, Joe, Josh🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love gone VIOLENT.....not Love don’t buy a lot. ........ Love it regardless👌🏻
the song is about a man or woman they just fell out of love and couldn't find a way to communicate sober and when that happens you just need to get out from under the influence of each other

Gina Basham Lzzy
aww my 222 is gone stop watching it lol
I am ready too get back into the real world
Am I the only one that has a problem with the fact that the lyrics video by a total stranger has more views than an official Halestorm video?
Reminds me of Get out right now by Jojo but 10 million times as better
Harley Steele bite your tongue
It's "Love gone violent", not "Love don't buy a lot"
+Arianne Galasso No shit didn't you see the corrections except for the alst one
+Brian Westmoreland Annotations don't appear on mobile. The first time I saw this comment I couldn't see them but now on my computer I can see everything.
Love don't violate
Just so you know.....A deafening silence
Like you like me
Where you want me
Saying nothing
Tune the truth serum!
The lyrics are "love gone violent" not "dont buy a lot"
I didn't like this song because I thought these lyrics where correct. After finding the real lyrics...I can't help hitting repeat on this song!
dad, i'm so over this love gone violent.
sodiiart . Black Diamonds Dad.
;_;
I'm so over this love GONE VIOLENT
This sounds like a Pink song.
Agreed
Great song writing
Do not compare Lizzy to Pink! SMH
Why? They are both great artists.
I like Pink too, but they are both completely different in my opinion.
its "love going violent" no "love dont buy a lot"
It's actually "Love gone violent" :)
Maria Cristiana7 finally someone else notices that
*Love gone violent
Not love don't buy a lot.
(I'm sorry it's been the botheringing me xD)
Uhmmmm

lyric correction
“i’m so over this loves gone violent”
Me a year ago finally gone
get the lyrics right before you post a video
ok
:*
The music during the chorus sounds really familiar...
Nothing ruins a great song more than putting the wrong lyrics-- uugggg--- you seriously thought the lyrics were I'M SO OVER THIS,, LOVE DON'T BUY A LOT 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Lisa Anders its not that big of a deal
These lyrics are wrong.. just saying..
Say the correct words if you may! So over this love going violent!!! You taking away from true meaning of it.
The lyrics are "So over this love gone violent"
