i'm about to do my A2 exam in Spain, with rudementary Spanish ability. these videos are invaluable. don't ask how i managed to pass my Spanish theory tests, the planets aligned for that one, that's for sure. Test is on the 3rd or 4th of next month... I'm not telling anyone HAHA
In a test situation, would it have been better to wait at the roundabout @44:35? In case the cars happen to keep going around, or would that acceptable?
Either decision would have worked there. Gavin had sufficient space to get going even if the car had decided to continue round. If in doubt though, stop! 😊👍
Gavin is doing a lot of shuffling feet when waiting at red lights. Has he been trained to wait in neutral so has to swap from rear brake to gear lever? If so why? Surely it's safer in 1st.
On a test it's best to stay in 1st so you're ready to go at a moment's notice. On training because the clutch hand can tire quickly for new riders there's no problem shifting into neutral while you're waiting so the grip can be relaxed. 👍
@@Lets-rideUk perfect thank you mate I appreciate it a lot just trying to perfect everything before I book both of my mods hahha you’re videos are the best to watch !
After a while it becomes automatic and it's such a good habit to acquire that you don't want to break it. Sometimes you might do it when technically you don't need to but that's better than not doing it when you do need to!
I often watch these videos despite passing my test over a year ago now as I find them excellent refreshers.
Passed my test about 3 years ago, but still enjoy watching these videos keeping my riding skills sharp
Great to see these videos, it's been two years since we took the DAS with you. Fantastic experience. Good luck to Gavin on his test.
Many thanks!
Your videos are very helpful to us beginners residing in less privileged countries since we don't have such developed systems. Good work.
Doing my MOD2 on Friday 13th. Not the best date and to make things worse, it's raining where I am 😅
Hope Luck is on my side that day.
Good luck! 👍👍👍
These videos are invaluable to learners.
Thank you James!

Ride safely, interact safely with other road users and make good progress and you'll be fine. 😊

@@Lets-rideUk thanks for the clarification!
Hey Richard do you really have to do a lifesaver check when going straight on a roundabout?
Not at all Kyle, unless you're in lane 2. Some pupils seem to do them even though we don't teach them! 😆

Hi Richard, How long does a module 2 driving test take? Because for some people, it only takes 30 minutes...
The road-ride usually takes 35 to 40 mins with about 5 to 10 mins beforehand doing the admin and running through the questions. 👍
@Lets-rideUk Thank you so much, Sir...
