This DEFINITELY needs to be a series, if only to see what sort of answer a detective with -10 perception digs up...
That also needs to be a series.
Just a Sherlock type thing (Haven't actually watched it, but I assume it's detectivey stuff) but with legit the worlds worst detective. But through friends and a bit of luck, manages to not be killed or revealed as a horrible detective.
Every episode/case would end with just "I knew it the whole time."

I would love a series of this. I had to watch half before my day started and the other half before bed. I spent all day itching to watch the rest. I’m not one for slow, detectivey games but I love watching someone better suited for them play. Also this game looks as beautiful as it is thorough.

Despite being a very visual game, this has much the feel of old Infocom text adventure games. Very cool. :)
I could see this being played on a livestream. Jon on the clock with everyone chatting at him sounds like a beautiful disaster waiting to happen.

@@ManyATrueNerd I was born in 2000 so as a kid I grew up at the end of its usage though I do remember my first pc I only had three games all on separate floppy disks and they were brilliant fun
@@ManyATrueNerd You didn't use the High Density 1.4MB ones? Howeve r I'm more surprised they were using 3 1/2 inch disks, and not the 5 1/4 inch given the dates

Everytime I hear the word flippin my head automatically substitutes it for a different f word, which makes Jon sound more sweary than Dan.
I'm like 99% sure flippin' is just straight up a common substitute/self-censor for that word, so I'd definitely consider Jon way more sweary than Dan.
Please play more, not the type of game I'd play but the sort I'd love to watch you play, great video!

Very rich game, very well put together indeed... You have my vote for more of this, would definitely like to see how this progresses...
I had a business idea that i used in one of my early business classes in collage that was a camp that basically was this game. Each team had to solve mysteries, counselors were actors that played diferent roles, there was a diner where they could get food and talk about findings, and they all had 2 weeks to uncover diferent mysteries, and all they had was a note in their cabin on the second day to get them started. Everything else was as if they were on a trip to this little town and "things" were happening and they had to uncover the mysteries of the town, and not get caught.

This game seems awesome. I love multiple solutions to puzzles and immersive mechanics.
This is actually quite surreal, although it can surely be super frustrating, I'm interested to see someone take this a step further and make even "failed" or different attempts part of the story like how detroit: become human did.

Jon, of course this and Gone home won't have quest markers.Those are closed space semi point & click adventure games. This and (let's say) Fallout 76 are 2 different games. Open world games like Fallout are expected to have quest markers. So to say it has (NO MINI-MAP, NO QUEST MARKERS), It's a closed space point and click game Jon. They're usually made that way for like the past 30 years.
