The reason why Madonna was not included in We Are The World was she was the most popular female artist at that time just like Prince which also the most popular male artist at that time who just beaten Micheal Jackson 's Thriller by Prince album Purple Rain at the American Music award of 1984. Actually Prince won the all categories. Best Record, Album, yet for me, also best custom and best good-looking of the American Music Award of that year 1985.
