Love burton and annoyed FF broke up. Will always be one of my favorite vocalist and the guy along with Max Cavalara who got me into metal way back when.
What about Ascension of the Watchers? The last album was 2020, still la while ago but it was amazing. He also just said he'll be dropping singles every few weeks too.
@@henrywalton5967 unfortunately, the album is very weak and does not arouse interest. We need projects at least like City Of Fire and 4 years is a long time and time goes by and the vocals deteriorate because Burton is almost 60 years old. I'm also saddened by the latest Fear Factory album and I think it's Dino's fault. Since he has been using the Mechanize style since 2010 and doesn't change anything.
@@СергейЛебедев-с9щ3э I think it was great personally and very unique but it's not gonna be for everyone. I'm looking forward to his solos stuff, I read somewhere the next track is going to be heavier with guitars and stuff
@@henrywalton5967 we'll see, but personally I was disappointed in metal music and also in movies the world is rolling into the abyss. Nevertheless, thanks to Burton and the film Mortal Kombat and especially to the album Demanufacture which can listen to indefinitely.
@@СергейЛебедев-с9щ3э I know what you mean there's a lot of very average metal out there but some bands are a doing amazing things still, for example Vektor with Terminal Redux, that's my favourite album of all time and it came out in 2016. Another great band from Cryptic Shift is doing amazing things they're worth a listen too. And this year we'll have Time II by Wintersun which will be a masterpiece I'm sure. Also there will be new Fear Factory at some point and it will be interesting to hear some songs with Milo. But you're right Demnaufacture is a timeless classic and one of the best albums ever made, the 90's was something else for metal! In terms of movies you're right I can't think of anything except Dune part 2 which I thought was 10/10 and maybe my new favourite movie, best movie since Interstellar. But nothing else is really coming to mind!
Beyond me why this dude just doesnt do another heavy band with his vocal style. Problem with releasing a single every month is every song has to be good because if its not nobody will want more & listen to the next song & it will all die off
Luckily he's a great lyricist too, and- considering some of the epic themes covered in FF over the years he should really branch out into storyboarding or something🤔
The first Fear Factory album came out over 30 years ago. He was a young man with different goals. He achieved what he wanted, and unfortunately he got removed from the band thru a fucked up legal manner, and I'm sure he also wants to explore different sounds. Screaming is a young mans game. It's not becoming of a 50+ year old man to still be screaming into a microphone about rage against the system. He said what he needed to say and those Fear Factory songs will live on forever.

*Cavalera
I don't understand why Burton hasn't announced new works yet, it's been 7 years since the last album was recorded back in 2017.

That's because he sucks at singing unfortunately.
Some of the live shows are on TH-cam. They sound horrible. I still love him lol
@@bruteoni8432 Yeah he sounds rough in this interview. Would still buy any albums or singles he puts out.

Burton c bell is the man dry lung vocal martyr.
Typewriter??
He's old school, very. Maybe he makes some sound samples using it.
A lot of hater taters on here lol
Screw this guy!the new generation of fear factory is better without him.. saw them twice last year!
Once they got super tight he could never match it live. They went on after chimaira and he was embarrassed.
This guy IS Fear Factory.
Unfortunate but true
@@anachronistxs1339not possible. Dino started the band and wrote ALL the music. And some of the lyrics. Open your eyes bruh.
@@bruteoni8432not true. See my previous response.
